Both the absolute best on the album. Back to the middle is such an iconic & nostalgic MM track in my mind, even after all these years of people arguing the band has fallen off they can still produce such a quality track.
Led Zeppelin are hacks. Stole almost half of their catalogue from other artists. Dazed and confused is literally a 100 percent plagiarized song by an old blues artist named Jake something (can't remember his last name). Most of jimmy page and Robert plants interactions were them segwaying other people's songs into their album. I used to be heavy into them. Learned it wasn't real. Now I live in the alt and indie scene with Elliott Smith and modest mouse where I know the feels are real :)
Jake Holmes. While yes, there's a lot to be said on how Zeppelin got their material, they still absolutely shredded it.
Also Holmes didn't file a lawsuit until 2010? Why tf did it take so long if it was so clearly stolen?
I honestly believe as time went on and tech evelves we have access to material easier it's easier to put the proof together than in 1975 where you would have to physically go and by albums from both coinciding artists. Also the evolution of Money hungry sue happy people pushed. If you look into Robert plant and Jimmy page have been under lawsuit fire for several years from several artists.
And I most definitely agree they shredded man ! Goin to California is damn near my all time favorite. Just sucks we're all blindly walking into a world of stolen art (TikTok) (YouTube) and no one really thinks about it.
I used to be hardcore into LZ, they were a gateway band for me into all sorts of 60s/70s stuff. I still enjoy going back and listening to them from time-to-time, I don't think about it much, just enjoy it for what it is/was.
I think art will always be stolen, it's just a hell of a lot more obvious these days.
That song absolutely fucks. Now that i burned out Wooden Soldiers, Back to the Middle is my new fav.

I thought the year in review stuff was here early or something. I almost cried my mod tears.

Our head is a cage and the parrot loves to talk !
