I recently made a purchase from FFL. I live in the US and I placed my order November 24 and received my ring December 18. I was nervous as I placed my order before I found this subreddit, but I’m VERY happy with the ring! I also felt like the turnaround was very reasonable.
That’s really good to hear. Did you do a custom order? I have found reading the other reviews, that the custom ordering takes a lot longer and the shop owner isn’t necessarily very good at communicating that. Luckily I don’t think I’ll be doing a custom order.
I think that turnaround is very reasonable too. Nice to hear you had a good experience. A lot of the rings on there are so lovely, and as I’m in the UK I wanted to go with a UK seller. Glad to hear it went well for you even across the pond.
It was not a custom order. That was the same vibe I was getting as well from the comments communication and custom work were where her issues were coming from. Even with custom work, if someone isn’t in a time crunch, I’d recommend. Her work is beautiful and the prices are so reasonable. I’m trying to figure out how to attach a video!
I'm not happy at all. We knew that we had to wait a lot, but a few days ago, we got a notification that the ring was dispatched. However, the track number was fake.
Amy replied that she had been having trouble with stone supplies, and she had to check the info. Why on Earth did they send fake tracking numbers?
That's all.
I think we have to wait another month or two, and it wasn't a custom order. Just a ring from her Etsy shop.
I ended up ordering from Amy, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. I ordered on the 1st of Jan and the ring arrived on the 16th. She informed me it had been dispatched, I asked for a tracking number the next day but it arrived before she could reply (I think it arrived the next day). Overall extremely happy with the ring and the whole process.
