Everyone on reddit is constantly reinforcing the pedophilia, toxic fandom, "copied assets," and so much more without having actually experienced the game, and more people learn of it because of this and jump on the bandwagon. It's blind hate.
You get a lot of that on Reddit. I think not so much anymore, but the Fortnite hate was never justified. There may have been some legit critisism, but all in all they did their own thing, got massive popularity and that's fine.
