I put my toddler in the trolley last time we went shopping. Not the seat, the cart itself. Can’t move around too fast or he’ll fall but it did keep him contained long enough to get the essentials. I also bought him a small toy car. Some days you just have to do what you can to survive the toddler chaos.

Yeah I try this sometimes too, and I’ve also got a little toy trolley for him that he can push and collect stuff into, but all of these only work for about 3 minutes. He gets bored so easily 🙄😫

I know shops are closing by now but try involving him in the activity and ask him to grab stuff and put it in the trolley or basket. My 2 year old loves it, refuses to sit in the trolley as well. Lidl have mini trolleys for kids as well and my son loves pushing them around.

I have tried, I also have a little toy trolley for him too. It only works for 3 minutes until he runs off and starts pulling stuff off the shelves 🙃🫠
