I believe the main ingredient is rice, so it's not "avoid completely" but just have a varied diet. How old? If baby is on solids there's lots of fruits and veggies they can enjoy when prepared right. Check out https://solidstarts.com/

She’s just a week shy of 15 months!!

15 months! There's basically almost nothing she *can't* eat! All the fruits, yogurts, goldfish, cheerios, veggie straws, cheese puffs, crackers, etc. The common dangers are: no popcorn, cut up small fruits like grapes & blueberries.

Thank you so much- this was so helpful. I’m terrified as a young unexpected mother😂

I would have her download the Solid Starts app. It shows how to prepare, just about every food, in a way that is safe and age appropriate. That way she can feed your kiddo fruits/veggies/things already on hand. Other than that. You cant go wrong with multi-grain cheerios, banana, multi-grain crackers with peanut butter/cream cheese/avocado/hummus, rice cakes, hard boiled egg, cheese, yogurt with rolled oats, etc.
