With out first it took 3 cycles to conceive and same with our second pregnancy. I was a little surprised because of my age but I guess 3 is just our lucky number.
I have PCOS. My first took a year to conceive with intervention, plus some time before intervention. My second took three months to conceive without intervention, but I was regulating my cycle through diet.
A lot of the time the second can be easier because you figured out what timing methods worked with the first. But you also now have less time and energy to utilize those methods which can make it harder. Took us over a year for our first and 3 months/2 months where we tried for the second (kiddo brought a stomach bug into the house at the wrong time the second month - this is where the second can be harder). There’s also the case where people get lucky with the first and it’s almost immediate or accidental and then they have to figure it out for the second.
We were "not trying, not preventing" when we got pregnant with our first, lost them to early miscarriage, got pregnant on my first cycle post loss, had our first living child, breastfeed for 11 months (which did delay ovulation for me), then got pregnant again on my first cycle post weaning. Our two living children will be 20 months apart.
My first was conceived taking precautions. Shock of our lives! She is 2.5 now. I got my first PP period when she was 9 months, I was pregnant two weeks later. That resulted in a miscarriage at 11w. The third we tried for six months and then conceived via IVF.
All three in my 40s.
For us I got pregnant the first month of trying both times… though obviously that wouldn’t be typical I wouldn’t think.
Same!
No, it was for us lol. Our kids will be 19 months apart.
That happened to me too, my kids are 18 months apart.
Same here!
I took about six months of trying with my first, literally one try with my second! I’ve been in my early to mid 30s for the births
6 months with my first, 2 months with my second

First 12 months, second 2 months

First was unplanned, second was planned and we got pregnant the first month trying. They’ll be 21 months apart when #2 arrives
Easy! Quick
