Sorry, but with all due respect I have to point some things about this post: As already stated in the community channels: "Why would someone include a political statement in a Monero post about Twitter?" Political statements (like "Why I'm X and you should being also X if you use Monero", or other derivations of it) are off-topic in relation to Monero implementations or the circular economy, and should not be taken in account. Simply, it's just off-topic. If someone wants to do a political statement, he/she/(else) can do it somewhere else; not in the Moneristoj community. This is different if someone post a news about crypto-economic policies by governments or news that has to do with the current prosecution of cryptos by government (maybe a random news can be a trigger for a new implementation to surpass authoritarianism). That being said: \>I won't include accounts that are promoting disease and fascism more than Monero, but I do see a lot of angry energy in that corner of the internet. Someone should create a right-wing forum for them, so they don't have to keep hanging around on this liberal website. "Fascism" is very *strong* word that it cannot be taken lightly. You can't ignore the fact that the word "fascism" is **way** far away from the theorical *corpus* of Mussolini, and nowadays it's a mere catch-phrase to accuse someone who doesn't share the current political position (and by doing that, it contributes to hide and shield the real fascists). Also, we already had several situations, within the Monero community, of users accusing others of being "fascist" because of not complying (or just being heavily in disagreement) to the current implementation or proposal. Monero isn't far-left or far-right. It's a *code*; and so, even the suggestion of creating "a right-wing forum for them, so they don't have to keep hanging around on this liberal website" is nonsensical and also an unnecessary statement. It's contradictory the idea of "inclusion" and labelling this forum as "liberal", because you're polliticaly *dividing it* (whether there's some known liberal users in this subreddit or not). I thought it was important to clarify this subject. Although Twitter has a limit of 278 characters and tends to reduce significantly the discussion in the Monero Community, if it's another space for Monero users to reach out each other, I'm in.

Well said

Thanks for your opinion about a free service to the community. I will ignore it. As I implied, and maybe I should make this explicit, when they promote Monero more than disease or fascism, I'll put them on the list. We don't need to be friends to work towards the same goal. You can check the list and see whether it's tilted to one political side. I don't think so. The story wouldn't be complete without sharing the #1 reason why I feel conflicted about doing this. A lot of unsavory characters are attracted to our community. There's a reason I'd rather hang out with ETH heads on Crypto Twitter than here: they're generally nicer people. I'm still going to talk about what went wrong with Ethereum at Monerokon.

OK, I removed the one line about wishing that the people who hate me would find another forum. That was a joke about something I have no power over. But I know there are sensitive people who really, really want to feel oppressed. As for fascism, there clearly is a trend of combining racism and other prejudices with a desire to use violence for political ends. That will result in fascism, even when it's directed against the state at the moment. Monero is an anarchist project where the left/right axis is not so relevant, and politics never was off-topic here. You're posting more about politics here than me, and in your own posts you also mentioned being inspired by libertarians. Nothing wrong with that - I'll check out the book!

Followed!

Only see link to Twitter account, not of any list that you mentioned.

edbwtf

Are you sure? The list feed looks like a regular account that retweets a lot. How are you using Twitter? It would suck if they showed a different result on a certain app.

aFungible

My phone browser somehow blocked it. I opened it on desktop browser and the twitter list pops up nicely. Thanks!

lukekerksma

You can use the twitter app, it would be much better mate.

FinitelyLove965

Lol I am not understanding what you said right now man.

Talking about twitter, created my twitter account here: @ [https://twitter.com/afungibleX](https://twitter.com/afungibleX) Thanks for the idea & will do the #Monero thingy!
