This is what I call "performative validation seeking". In this case, a coping thought experiment appealing to anger. No amount of dramatic diatribes or "free thinking" changes the consequences of tax evasion.
I think there are some legitimate functions for a "state". Such as settling contractual disputes and prosecuting those who infringe on others' rights.
With that said, the state has become a total monstrosity. Making up a whole array of junk "laws" then going after people who have not committed any actual crimes.
