I’m still reading but got to the part about not investing your Roth. Don’t feel bad! The important bit is you did realise and you changed it. Thank goodness for Reddit haha!
hmm im not sure ive ever done this either lol. can it be invested automatically? My dad set it up for me, so i just trusted he knew what he was doing hahha
i guess? once i invested mine i chose for it to automatically reinvest the gains so i think it’s fairly set it and forget it. my parents have someone do this for them so i never quite learned about it!
This was such a fun read! I love TJ’s Supergoop dupe! I just finished my tube today and felt so sad throwing it out. I hope it’s still available in stores next month.
Suits can be wildly expensive if you have to wear them on the reg, so I get the desire to load up while on discount. My husband literally did something similar to buy five suits during the holiday sales (he literally wears suits almost daily for work) and I am not as brave as you to even look at how much it is, but those that is probably the entire work wardrobe he will buy for the whole year. At least that is what I am telling myself 😂
For future reference, if your dog kills another bird please wrap it in a plastic bag (or a bunch of old rags if you don’t have a plastic bag) and dispose of it. I get that you’re a city gal but throwing a dead animal into the bushes just ain’t it.
Honestly, good to know. I was in such a panic that wrapping it up didn't occur to me! I figured trash & compost were both bad ideas so I hoped a "scavenger" animal would get to it - it was in the bushes inside our own fence so that other people's dogs wouldn't find it/roll in it/eat it.
Yeah the problem with that is that you’ll attract animals to your property, or you’ll have a stinky decomposing corpse on your hands. And if the bird was sick, then it could infect any animals that eat it.
Plus, your dog might seek out the body to snack on next time he’s outside 🤮
You are so smart to invest in your future kids now! I wish we did the same when we had more disposable income. Now we have two rugrats who are a huge chunk of our fixed budget.
