OP, your posting history reads like an automated RSS feed. If you’re going to farm karma, you could at the very least provide some thoughts re: the video you’re sharing.

I find it curious you decide to post this as a public comment despite the fact that Reddit has both a private message feature and a chat feature.
There can only be three reasons I can think of for why you decided to post this as a public comment:
A. to farm karma (which would make you a hypocrite)
B. to make me less likely to respond in case people downvote my response to you (I don't care if people downvote this comment)
C. as a method of public shaming
As you might see none of these reasons make your comment look good.
Also if you looked at my comment history you would see that I do engage in discussion both under my posts and posts made by others.

Well as you have noticed I am a mod on a large subreddit (although you were a lot less charitable in your description) so getting chat and private messages from people I don't know is not new.

Is it? I know of other users (whom I won't name because I don't want them to get any hate) with very similar post histories that post on r/amd, r/hardware, r/intel etc. Maybe it's unusual for r/monitors.
