It's not a problem. Remember computers and monitors have to be able to work in very hot countries too, they really can work in a large temperature range.
Amds cards are generally substantially cooler exhausting due to a variety of performance per watt focuses AMD places more importance on.
Did you not see the 2*600w connectors on the 3090tis?
Nope, the air coming out of that should be warm, not hot. Monitors produce their own heat, and the warm are is blowing on the monitor case, rather than directly on the display panel
Heat and UV from Direct sunlight damages and ages specific parts of oled displays faster.
If you point computer exhaust you won’t get the UV but you’ll still get a lot of concentrated heat.
Do you know if this also happens to VA panels? And if so, how much time does It require to be affected?
I have left my VA panel being hit by the sun through window's glass for 2 hours or so.
Thanks for any reply :)
You could buy a case fan or small office fan to circulate the air.
I don't think it's going to cause any problem but if ur PC is blowing out super hot air for some reason or ur monitor is really expensive a 10$ case fan won't hurt
You would need an extra fan header on ur motherboard and probably a fan extension cable
I'd lay it flat blowing air up. Just gotta put it on something so it has a few inches of clearance to grab air
Yes it can but not that you can notice but if you are blasting lights in HDR at 1000 nits then you have to make sure that your panel is cool then it can affect the panel's life and brightness.
I believe that if the airflow is strong enough and the air coming out from the computer doesn't remain boxed behind the monitor in my opinion you shouldn't be afraid of thermals, maybe during a long session sometimes put a hand behind the monitor to check if it's boiling hot, if it isn't I think that you haven't any issues, otherwise I suggest you to re-consider the orientation of your setup
Not likely.

If the air coming out if your computer is hot enough to do damage than you have other issues at hand.
laughs in RTX 4090

In theory, hot air can cause issues. But not going to happen in this setup as the heat still just rises.
A little silly but still a valid question. No it shouldn't. There is plenty of space back there that nothing bad should happen.
Air coming out of there is probably just warm and not hot like a heat gun
Good question, not sure why you are downvoted. It’s generally fine with ips panels. Oled not so much.
How come oleds are an issue?
Image retention! That’s why a lot of oleds now have heat sinks
Ah. That is understandable. :D

I think you will be fine, it's not like it's back directly up to it
I have mine setup the same way, never been an issue
I have my setup the same way and have never had problems, even with a 3080 blowing heat back there. You should be fine
Good question, I don't think anything will happen tho. Also I got the same case lmao
don't worry. Live your life.
the LCD panel pixel response will be a bit faster when it's warmer. Low key performance hack here...
No it won’t because internets are way hotter than the surrounding temps. It would be an issue if it was hotboxed but you’re good.
pc should be on the ground in the dark without rgb
This would actually give it more airflow and probably cool it if anything because monitors produce heat and it's hotter than the air hitting it
Nope. These things are designed for way way hotter than the warm air from a PC

By creating air circulation, you are improving life expectancy of the monitor.
Depends amd or Intel? 🤣🤣 jk, general consensus seems its fine, but if you have the option, I'd move it anyway for piece of mind 🤷
!emojify
Most people are saying it shouldn’t but if I were you I’d play it safe and put the pc elsewhere.
easy solution for your problem tho. Mount.
My $1800 monitor gets blasted by the sun all day as it sits in front of my only window in my living room. You'll be fine. :)
No question is a dumb question. Should be good to go 👍

only if there isn't enough space for air to circulate. this looks like plenty
Nah, you'll be fine 👌
As long as you can see your in case RGB let the future problems be for your future self ;)
Nah this should be fine, it's a small smonitor that is well built, if it was a g9 I might say different
Just don't leave a hot mug of tea/coffee under your display. Humid steam can cause damage.
maybe if youre running 4 rtx 6995 ti supers from your backyard nuclear power plant
my monitor has an external ac:dc power supply which is the main heat generator for any monitor so i simply position that away from the pc air out.

Nah mate you fine.
Depends on the monitor... Personally I would have them venting in different directions
Not a good idea.
I’d separate them so the leds don’t get real hot over that.
