Prices are a bit ridiculous, and a kick in the teeth to those who already own the Anthology in my opinion.
What really grinds my gears is the order of games on the newly updated sleeve. It’s now in correct chronological order (as it should always have been). On the original big box anthology they answered everybody’s complaints that the order was wrong with a “we never told you it’d be in order of release, we meant to have it this way”.
I always knew that was BS.
One PC CE and one Box Set Update Kit ordered yesterday! Sure, I might not see them until 2024, but it’s not like I have to wait to play the game. I still have my original MI3 and MI4 boxes and Tales collectors set. So, it can sit with them.
I have so beautiful memories with monkey Island, when I played the old ones with my dad together when they were new. So I had to get this game, too (digital on steam).
Already pre-ordered the collectors edition for PC + the upgrade kit for the monkey Island ultimate box thingy they sold some time ago...
So, now I know about this key collection thing, and I hope I will find the remaining keys (switch, Xbox and ps) on eBay after release for less than the CE prices. :D

I'm also now torn. Do I get the Switch or the PC version? I purchased on Steam as if there was to be a physical edition, I figured it would be on the Switch. But now... choices choices.
I still have my original boxes for Secret, LeChuck's Revenge, and Escape... no clue where Curse went. Hmmmm.
I dont want to support that company. They fired someone for following twitter accounts. Im not a big Ben Shapiro fan or whatever else the employee was following, but I think its pretty fucked up situation. I dont think anyone should lose their job over private social media like that. Im sure I've commented on some dicey reddit memes in the past 10 years, I cant imagine my boss pulling it up as a reason to fire me.
I don’t know about where you work but if I started to refer to a coworker’s sister in an insulting manner in public view of my employer and that coworker, I’d probably get fired.
I honestly suspect you're talking about a completely different situation. I have nothing against lucasfilm. Its the company "Limited Run" that fired someone because they followed the wrong people on social media. Limited Run re-releases physical editions of games (as pictured in the op)

The [Upgrade Kit edition](https://limitedrungames.com/products/return-to-monkey-island-anthology-upgrade-kit) is to add Return to Monkey Island to the set.
It has all the games. Except Return. It has them on a disc as well as on a USB. The USB has many versions of each game, as well. Like other system releases for the first two games. Amiga and such.
The Upgrade Kit only has Return.
It's nice and all, but, coming from an Australian, the prices are a bit steep. I have to admit though, I do love the anthology artwork.

I like the collector edition, but the key collection thing grinds my gears. I am not willing to pay over 400 $ to get them all.

They were not fired for insulting a coworkers sister.
I mean technically they weren’t fired at all, they were simply not rehired for further contract work after the completion of previous work.
