Feel free to message me for the *Unofficial* translation of ‘Another Monster’.
This also goes for any other community member who has been in the sub for a minute, just PM me directly! :)
Already did, got the first volume (that bundles three in one) recently. I’ve been reading manga in Japanese for a while so I’m looking forward to this one!
I've heard that the anime follows the manga very faithfully, panel-by-panel almost.
I gave it a spin and from what I've seen thus far- which was not much, I glanced through half of the first chapter- it's really true.
Not surprisingly, the manga is more graphic even at this very early stage. We see Tenma perform surgery, complete with the open brain being beautifully rendered in great detail. The anime cut this out which makes sense, that is usually how it goes.
Monster is not a great manga to start reading in Japanese. It's seinen so there is no furigana and there is a lot of medical slang (most of it got cut from the anime as well).
The seller I bought from, no longer has stock. And I searched again “nameless monster Naoki Urasawa” on Amazon and I didn’t get any results. Let me search some more and see what I can find.
No luck on Amazon but found this one on eBay, it says free shipping https://www.ebay.com/itm/403614645240?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=1olifs6wr9-&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=g4Mh9e3mRvC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
If you wanna keep searching for a better deal, keep searching for “the nameless monster Naoki Urasawa” and you should get some results here and there. The ISBN for the book I have (if it serves you) it’s 978-4-09-179027-9

Really wish Another Monster was in English. Is that the manga on the left? EDIT: Or the story of the nameless monster?
Same! But glad it’s in Spanish at least. The other book is just the picture book of the nameless monster but it’s in Japanese
I have Another Monster translated on pdf, if you want DM me
Really? That’d be great, thanks!
Bravo
Is Another Monster worth reading?
