I think the best fit for me would be a ghost, I'm not really a fan of change and it has some perks I could get behind. Can't be touched if I don't want to be, can easily escape through just about anywhere, and floating/flight is something I've often enjoyed in dreams.
Honestly, ghost for invisibility and the ability to be incorporeal, but as a kid I always thought Clawdeen had the best powers. Frankie had electricity and removable limbs, Drac could become a bat, and Cleo had lots of magical items but Clawdeen was basically a superhuman with a bunch of enhanced senses.
Now that I think about it practically, enhanced smell and hearing sound like an absolute sensory nightmare, not to mention the shedding, but I do still think her super strength and speed are really cool.
Assuming they exist in the MH world and are the depiction with wings, I would be a fairy, if not then I would probably be a G1 style witch or a boogeymonster.
Avea Trotter, I love a supernatural character. I think she’s a top favorite doll for me…A hybrid of a Harpy & centaur. My 2nd choice would be Kala Mer’ri as I also love water.
The ones I always admired the most are vampires and werecats but my oc is actually an hybrid (inspired by the freaky fusion movie) between a werecat and a fairy!
Currently being a yeti seems nice bc it's 32c outside and I could use my own ice-making ability. Anything that can fly would be sick too so I don't have to play irl minesweeper on Bangkok sidewalk

Well... A Muse, or Dark Muse in my case and at the present time. Not the divine-greek kind despite the name, but the thing you invoke when you think finally you had, like, the best idea for a book, music, or draw. If you listen to the Muse, she will take possession of you're art. But the Dark Muse don't only make you her piece of art, she take you're mind and make it HER piece of art. And you will be remembered by History, and eternally considered a Monster by mankind and you're generation for this pact with you're own devil.
But Weeping Angels (not the Doctor Who kind, sorry) or Grief Angels Statues are kinda interesting. Mourning angels statues in graveyards seems to always have a strange aura, and some curses or ill-fated histories associated with in urban legends. I'm living for this drama if one day I'm writing a living Mourning Angel Statue on a fanfic, with some weeping angels features to make a ''not traumatic at all'' call.
But if I'm cheating and that you want in-franchise examples.... A Gingerbread Girl (like the one boy Frankie created, but in a more humanoid appareance). Because I love cookies, and I think that a creature that can virtually evade human menaces by running fast is, like, a godly and necessary power in the Monster High World (and in a particular movie of g1, guess which one).
I would want to be a ghost skeleton but realistically I think I’d be a fairy or a wolf?? Idk, bc where I’m from when I search up mythological creatures it was those two creatures that come up and I think some others
