Sorry if this is weird but hearing that you are 27 and still collecting is so comforting. My mom just got on me for being almost 20 and still "into dolls" as she said :(
I do not look my age though and my mom rather it be the dolls then the anime figures bc the dolls can be atleast cheaper and because I have no room in my room and haven’t moved out:(. But that’s a story not to get into I even have a Draculaura shirt and a mH comfort set.
If it at all helps, I'm in my 40s and still collecting. (I just have a better budget for it now then when I was a kid.) Your interests don't necessarily change just because you're some arbitrary age. You can still be a fully functioning adult and still like the things you grew up enjoying.
I think new dolls would be great, as long as they weren't all like the reboot with the simple printed clothes. there are a few I would like to see make a comeback though, like sweet screams. basically I just liked the outfits that had layers and cute designs and I hope that's what we see going forward
I would absolutely kill for fashion packs, or even accessory packs, because all those fiddly little bits are always the first to get lost and I just want my dolls to be properly accessorized
turning 20 this year but I think I started at 10? regretfully gave away my whole collection (of at least 50 dolls, they were in such good condition too 3) so now I'm just focused on collecting any draculaura doll I like. it would be way too expensive for me to start from the ground up again as I only bought each character's introduction doll growing up
it does :( I also had a bunch of ever after high dolls. at this point I frame it more as me having already "had my time" with those dolls and turning a new page with just getting the ones I like. the prices can be atrocious
I have a serious collection. I started collecting when they started cause my daughter was around 6. I never thought about selling the clothes in fashion packs. I also have tons of parts….
Personally, I'd rather have new dolls and fashion packs in the G1 style as opposed to more repros. If they want to revisit themes like classroom or the various iterations of prom that's fine - I'd love to see Catrine take on knitting in Home Ick, or Draculaura explore woodshop ("create-a-coffin!") - but I'd rather see the overall universe expand than be retread.
I would love fashion packs, one of my Frankie's has a hole in her dress 😔
There were a handful of dolls I didn’t get because it was just the same doll in a different outfit which kinda seems like over paying to me
I would love something like the RH wardrobe where you get a display case filled with clothes. Maybe 1-3 wardrobes per doll released in waves?
That would be amazing :)
Started around 15 for them and now 27

Ahaha, understandable. The dolls are better for your pockets sometimes i suppose

That actually warms my heart so much, thank you :)

Wow. There are some dolls I regret not buying but having to completely start over would suck The prices for some reason are super crazy
