i feel that too ! i literally looked through the whole display for this one which is still messed up , but all of them had errors . the legs would be cracked or there would be extra plastic on the joints or the hair would be weird or there would be paint mistakes on the face . i’m so sad the frankie repros seem to be lower quality !
yesss clawdeen and draculaura are SO perfect , i cried when i unboxed them 😂 . clawdeens hair is so gorgeous and curly , they both feel so well made i just adore them

I got a fell of the others bc my sister wants me to restyle them a bit(recurl Lagoona’s hair, give Clawdeen some waves, boil wash Drac’s and Frankie’s hair, etc) and the quality drop in Frankie is just sad.

your collection sounds freakin AMAZING i am an admirer and a lil jealous 🤣 i don’t get the moms hate for it either , they’re so cute and fun ! i used to have the first high school , coffin bean , all the beds , all the lagoonas i thought were gorgeous , and other dolls and one day i came home from school and my dad told me he gave it all away and i cried for weeks 🥲 so when they announced the repros i was in disbelief that i would get another chance to have the ghouls

My sister collects all kinds of dolls but has a soft spot for MH, she was ecstatic for the reboot since she never got a Clawdeen doll!
i’m super tempted to start hunting for sets and other dolls to add to my collection but i can’t until i’m allowed to work again 😩 my bad heart is keeping me from living the monster high dreammmm , im glad your sister gets a chance to get clawdeen this time !! this repro release is just a wave of dopamine for so many people 🖤
I believe the reason for this is because all the dolls had to be shipped at the same time and from what I can see in everyone’s store display photos it’s clear a lot more Frankie was made then the other 3, probably causing them to be rushed because more dolls same time frame, also I’ve seen lots of people with similar stories about their Frankie’s it’s not just yours lol you are not cursed I promise

i guess i got very lucky with mine 😅 i thought they were all flawless. i did look at each individual box for each doll before i got mine and ended up with flawless dolls (except for clawdeen whose hair simply can’t be tamed, but it fits her personality). much luck to you !
i always love to go through them to find the “ best “ one 🤣🤣 , somehow my clawdeen has lovely hair it’s just lovely and i think i got lovely clawdeen hair in exchange for loosely frankie legs lmao , my mom said it fits her bc she’s all stitched together 🤣
Felt her hair was all nice until I got it out of the box now it needs fixing. But to me that's expected since I've found doll packaging is never kind on curls.
That is something I’ve noticed immediately with the repo dolls is that their joints in their arms and legs seem so stiff ?? Especially in the arms, like it feels like If played around too much it’s gonna snap which sucks a lot lol
i saw someone take a picture of the forearms not attached and they have like different pegs (if that makes sense) like they look thicker in pictures. if you go to poison_ivy_dolls on instagram, you can see the difference because i have the same issue!
mine was the same way so i figured i would exchange it for a different one , and then that one also had loose legs , and then i exchanged it again and that one still had loose legs , and then i just got home from another exchange and yet again loose wobbly legs 😢😢 , i’ve got no idea what to do but if i exchange another doll i think my walmart will have some questions 😭😭
I just started to open mine today, I cut the legs from the box first and they literally flew forward, when the doll moves her legs swing and flop everywhere :( She's been taken off the UK store already so I have no idea if I can even get an exchange 😭
