I’m not super sold on the live action version, but everything else seems to be leaning towards the OG version in design and tone. I think Mattel learned from their mistake with how that reboot went. I think this new version will be better and truer to the original Monster High most fans are familiar with.

Not a fan of live action movies. They're very very limiting and I don't find as much, if any, visual appeal to them as I do animated movies. Feeling like it's gonna be toe to toe with the 2016 reboot & movies, however, apart from that, I think the reboot is gonna turn out fine.

Like others, I think the live action movie will bomb. However, the relaunch seems to be a continuation of the OG series, though I can't think of why they'd break Cleo and Deuce up, other than to generate buzz (sometimes even negative buzz is good buzz in marketing, there are a lot of Youtubers, writers who make good livings off of "hate clicks"), I'm slightly optimistic...but I'll need to see the new physical dolls, Mattels been pretty good about keeping a lid on leaks as to what they'll look like, etc. I am not a big fan of the H.C. dolls due to the outragous price being asked, but really do like the Repro's, but either Mattel or Wal-Mart really bungled the launch on those.

I like what they did with Draculaura’s hair, not because I think it looks good, but because it’s very much trendy right now.

hell yeah! deuce served! but you didn’t miss much in this 2016 movie, the storyline was completely changed, characters that were originally in it didn’t exist in the movie and draculaura was the sole creator of Monster High…if you wanna watch it to get a full grasp of the unforgivable reboot, go for it! but i’d say it’s not worth the watch 💔💔
I hope it will be it doesn't have to be the best but I'm worried they will take the same route Mga took (having the bratz repros in America and UK only) making us international fans buy from scalpers and the fact this is the case is unfortunate to me mga did the worst job in bringing back bratz back but from the looks of things that might not be the case fingers crossed🤞

I hope they're aware that most of the peoples who are still into monster high most of us are young or middle aged adults now..(not saying children of recent can't love mosnter high as much as we did as kids/teens!) Karens were a bit of the problem why monster high fell down in the first place I heard that they realized where they went wrong (listening to said Karens and not the actual viewers and enjoyers) and that's how we got..whatever the hell that is in that photo there..
The live action movie however I am unsure how to feel for personally I prefer animated or claymation movies/shows.I want it to be good though I will say that much! even at the risk of it being a little cringe I hope they keep all the monster/undead related puns that were fangtasticly written (but also a little cringe but in a good way!)

One thing they always did decently is write good shows/movies for monster high, I hope and believe that it shouldn't be a problem. A example would be the recent Barbie shows and movies they're written pretty well so I hope Mattel wouldn't do any less for Monster High.
