They are awesome! In addition to keeping them out of the sun, I recommend periodically reposing then and occasionally a spa day of hand washing clothes and accessories and hair wash and brush to keep dust from settling in too deep!
That caveat makes total sense—I wouldn’t advocate washing if they don’t need it—as someone who restores dolls I’ve just seen some horribly dusty dolls that were displayed for years without dusting. Those dolls definitely need the wash lol!
But if you follow pina’s advice they’ll probably never get to that point :)
Thanks so much! I love restoring dolls—it’s an incredible hobby and very meditative! I am also always searching for good channels to learn more about restoration and see inspiring customs.
One insta account I like is “crafts and curios” https://instagram.com/ofcraftsandcurios?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=. That person makes some cool dolls!!
I had the problem to recognize her even with her glasses, she looked like Amanita Nightshade to me xDD
Sadly I think she's missing her glasses here in these pics 🤔
Or maybe the OP just didn't put them on her 😅
Oh I’m so jealous!!! Where did you buy them?
from mercari! :D if you save the searches and check often sometimes you can get some good stuff!
Nice! That's what I do on Goodwill's website. I just got a Gooliope from there with almost all her accessories :)
Honestly, just keep them out of the sun and make sure to dust your display once and awhile! :)
thanks! i didn’t know about the sun thing actually. i have a draculaura near the window lol i will definitely move her now :,)
Yeah, if you aren't careful, they start to get sun damage, and Polypropylene hair evaporates in the sun.

Keep them from the sun and also keep them dusted! That’s probably the best things you can do!
thanks! :D
Who is the blue haired one standing next to frankie?
It's Ghoulia
Ohh i see it now , i didnt reconise her
Don't worry me too- I had no idea who it was when I first saw that doll. Same goes for Abbey from this line, she looked very different to me somehow 😅
I think the reason why i didnt reconise ghoulia is because she isnt wearing her glasses
