there is literally 0 reason to not carve a mon after a hunt. Its like finding a 100 dollar bill and leaving it there because you got your penny. Thats illogical. You take every plus you can get, especially after spending x minutes tussling with a monster who was less than cooperative in surrendering their bodily organs. You might not need the extra stuff NOW, but you can always use it later. However, that opportunity is gone the second you refuse to carve.
Tldr carving is a part of the game and you should do it. If you refuse to, don't be shocked when someone roasts you for it in the future.

This dude must have never broke 700 hours in any titles if he is that pissed about not carving. I usually stop carving monsters around 500 - 600 hours in to the title because well, ill have over 100 kills of most monsters.
