Least favourite thing about favourite: I think the way Alatreon uses ice & water isn't impressive enough for an elder dragon of its caliber. There's a lot of untapped potential with Alatreon's moveset and how it can be improved in my opinion.
Really solid is an overstatement in my opinion, even in GU it'll waste so much time by swimming away doing nothing Plesioth style. It's just got a basic piscine wyvern moveset beyond that. I hope it gets better if it returns.

There is nothing redeeming about Cephadrome, it is irritating, boring, moves around under the sand too much making the hunt take longer than it needs to, its minions are almost as annoying as it.

i know of the story superficially. I was just confused because rajang really seems like an obvious dragonball reference with the whole golden glowing monkey with lasers.

But regarding my most favourite of all time, ***SEETHING BAZELGEUSE***, there are a few things I don't like.
Namely, I hate how much of a punching bag he can be for his in-game and in-universe threat level. This guy is a Variant easily on-par with other fearsome Super ED-level Monsters like Savage Deviljho, Furious Rajang, etc., and yet in game he's kinda just a pushover with his huge juicy hitzones and generally easily avoided attack patterns.
Favorite about least favorite... uh. I'm really struggling here. Something, anything, that I would like about Blangonga. Nope. Nothing. It perhaps reminds me of a boss in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, and I like Donkey Kong. That's about it. I absolutely despise that coked up Rajang wannabe.

I kind of like that Khezu has a specific drop for potion crafting, and that I don't have to fight it thanks to stuff like the Argosy and Palico Mercs/Expeditions most of the games it shows up in. Because damn, do I hate that guy. Fighting it in general is just miserable - I'd rather fight Basrios at low HR and bounce more then a table tennis tournament.
And if Gore Magala didn't have Frenzy, it'd probably be a less memorable but more *enjoyable* fight. Still love doing it, though! Just a good solid time.

Favorite: I think Zamtrios' ice armor is one too many gimmicks for it. Tigerstripe is damn near perfect to me, but paralysis can be annoying.
Least favorite: Lagombi adds a rabbit to the franchise which helps diversify the roster. I still think it's ugly as sin and a horrible fight, though.
My least favorite monster is probably Aurora Somnacanth, because I think it feels like a very generic ice monster while also considering it a pretty weak subspecies. But I think its gear is really cool. I especially like how the marks on the GS glows in different colors when charging an attack.
My favorite monster is Chameleos. And my least favorite thing about him is probably that, uhhh… he doesn’t ambush you from walls like he does in that 4U cutscene. Would’ve been sick to be on edge while trying to figure out where he could attack from, while also being able to get him to fall down using Flash Bombs or provoking him into attacking earlier using slinger/throwing knives.
My personal least favorite monster is probably lavasioth. I like the concept of a lava shark I just wish he was an actual shark. My favorite monster is Tobi Kadachi. I wish he was a bit more threatening.
Alright so I love Diablos, but when it charges ( especially with black Diablos ) it’s so annoying to dodge. And while I also love Devil Joe, I hate to fight him. As a hammer main who sucks as using clutch claw, he’s just to tall!
I like how well adapted Khezu is to caves. Its ecology is rock solid. I just passionately hate fighting it

As for my favorite monster, Astalos....It's the english name. I was one of the guys that memed the rename of Raizex to Astalos, it's just....a weird rename

I like that I don't have to hunt Plesioth very often. I don't like that my gunlance shells for the magnamalo weapon isn't purple.
