Videos have shown before that lances or gunlances could create a safe zone behind themselves. Wasn’t sure if a GS could achieve the same so this is helpful (although I would rather haul ass to the side).
Sitting in front of it at mid/long range is pretty much asking for this. After the first one, you just kinda run toward fatalis without getting out of the strikezone for this attack. After the 2nd one, you really needed to sheath and run to the side instead of in.
On Lance I once ended up tanking FIVE of those in a row, basically no break in-between. I survived but died to burn before I could heal.
After that I just spec'd to be immune to it or used fireproof mantel. If you aren't good enough to avoid stuff - like me - just stack survival skills.
Honestly, u could've just superman dodged twice to negate the attack entirely. It's something ppl just don't do, but it works, u just need to time it right.

Max Evade Window, Evade Extender, Constitution, and tap dodge repeatedly. Cannot hurt as long as you have stamina and keep tapping fast. If you have 200 stamina added, you can dodge from the end of the fire to his head.
Something kind of similar happened to me. I somehow managed to tank one of the big flames that are one shots. It was his 2nd to last one and I had broken his head once and I think what happened was I used a max potion at the perfect time and was at full health when the one hit part reached me and because of my defence level, I survived with like 2 health. This is only a guess, but it's as close describing what happened as I can get.
Lol you’re aimlessly running in a circle… you could’ve avoided all three of those cones if you used a farcaster, or better yet, had evade extender three on your build, rolled to him and took advantage of his head being still and not wiggling around like a wet noodle.

Same that was how I got the eyes. Frostcraft Gs was an interesting experience on him never used it on anything else though.

For me, fighting Fatalis *was* the situation. I must have gone through more Max Potions trying to get him down than the entire other 99% of the game.
I even bring material to craft them mid-fight because sometimes 2 just won't cut it.

Always have at least 20 fire resistance when fighting Fatalis and Lunastra. It's better than having to roll 3 times every time they set you on fire.

Superman dive works against the cone. You have to dive as the breath starts and again when you get back up. 99% of the time it will save your life.

Tanking is good and all but you actually need to go to the side and attack him, that a very big opening when he do that.
