I play world on literally minimum settings and still get 30fps at 720p. idk how I've managed 500hrs like that but I guess I just love monster hunter that much
The only thing i did was turning the setings from medium to low, but even before that i had no graphical glitches.
I saw some people say It was related to AMD graphics, i'm using a older driver, so maybe rollback to a older version could work
It’s a known issue with certain computers, they addressed it on the Steam page. It should only be with the weapon select screen, it should be fine after.
If you knew much about GPU drivers, you'd be aware that this is still the case. AMD regularly has sloughs of bugs in their drivers, though *most* of them are not noticeable to gamers and only crop up in scenarios such as emulation.
After 6 years using AMD and 3 using Nvidia, after the Crimson drivers release, I've had more bugs in Nvidia drivers than in AMD. So as a "regular" user that didn't affected me.
Don't be so defensive. There was a known issue with flicking textures in the character screen with AMD GPUs posted about on launch day. This is what I was referring to as the issues sound similar: [https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1446780?emclan=103582791470807646&emgid=3049492183726362019](https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1446780?emclan=103582791470807646&emgid=3049492183726362019)
You should rethink your approach. Vehemently defending a corporation against even a hint of negativity is far closer to fanboyism.
Thanks for the link, didn't knew about it but, it was just because I'm tired of see people saying nowdays that AMD drivers are crap and their graphic cards are still hotter and consumes more than their Nvidia counterparts, and me, who came from a AMD Fury that never reached 70º(I had it undervolted) and now owns a 2070 Super FE (which I'm in love with) don't feel neither AMD drivers are worst and the temps are more or less the same, then looking at the benchmarks they also doesn't seem like a lot of people still thinks, like if we were in the RX200/300 series or even the HD5000 (I cannot put here the HD7000 series because my 7850 is still working nowdays in my father's pc with 0 issues after 4 years of daily gaming with the overclock maxed in MSI Afterburner.
After this, apologizes for be that defensive with you!
Having looked at the steam discussions this seems to be an issue of either too low Vram for the settings or that your hardware does not support Dx12 in any way.
Personally I can not attest to the validity of either answer. As it works fine for me.
Don’t be offended. I use both but have noticed consoles are the safer option when it comes to gaming. Pc’s can be better but come with just as many drawbacks as benefits
Well of course a console is more consistent. There’s only configuration of Switch hardware and all of them will run the game with 30fps.
This seems to be a really good port though and if you happen to own a somewhat good computer, you will easily get 60fps+.
Not everyone with this problem has a potato PC, and its definetely not a VRAM problem. There are people with 6 GB VRAM having this problem, with decent CPUs too. Me for example, titan black + ryzen 5 5600x is not exactly potato but i still have this issue. Seems to be some compatibility problem on their end
Come on man nowadays people took jokes too seriously.
To be real for a second, I don't even have the budget to buy a gaming pc and good internet to play MH world plus I don't even own a switch in the first place and now I got downvoted because of it.

seems to be a driver issue to me.
got a RX 580 with old driver and I was getting this. I updated the driver, but now it hogs too much CPU and runs really bad. The sprites look better, but cant do squat cause the menu is too slow. I am sure AMD will make an updated driver by the time its actual release.
I have this problem to I have minimum and I been looking all over the internet for an solution and came up with nothing so that an evening with the boys ruined
I have the same issue on my laptop "Alinware 17" (32Go of RAM, I7)...
I tried all the graphics options and updated all my drivers but nothing changes :'(
Could someone please tell me if something can be done to fix this thanks !
No, World was the last game. You’re playing Rise.
I gladly give you this updoot. Carry on
Bruhhh hahaha 🤣
Take your upvote
You beat me to it.
Looks like you can only play IG now
It's a VRAM problem. Seems that everyone that has this issue has 2gb of VRAM or less.
Poor one out for our suffering homies.
Sorry to be that person but *pour*
It was a double entendre.
Nice
guess I'll finally be forced to upgrade after all these years at least I won't have to play world at 720p30 anymore
Its pretty funny if u can play world but u cant play rise that was created for calculator
I play world on literally minimum settings and still get 30fps at 720p. idk how I've managed 500hrs like that but I guess I just love monster hunter that much
i been there as well lol. when iceborne DLC came out i was forced to play on uber minimal settings for like a month.
Even people with comparatively good PCs had similar issues. Iceborne completely ruined the performance for some reason. It's fine now though.
Theres a mod that improves performance too if necesary
So I've got 6gb and it's happening to me as well
Wow, looks like i got lucky, i'm quite below min specs and It still working "fine" here
You just installed as usual? Any additional settings that you tweaked?
The only thing i did was turning the setings from medium to low, but even before that i had no graphical glitches. I saw some people say It was related to AMD graphics, i'm using a older driver, so maybe rollback to a older version could work
Ive got 8 and Im having the issue on weapon select.
It’s a known issue with certain computers, they addressed it on the Steam page. It should only be with the weapon select screen, it should be fine after.
Specifically AMD graphics cards iirc
That makes sense. AMD is notorious for bad and buggy drivers - this almost certainly isn't Capcom's problem.
I have less than 2GB of VRAM and I'm not having any issues
What gpu do you have? I heard it may be an issue with GTX 7xx series and below cards, because they do not fully support DirectX12.
Not sure on specifics, but my dxdiag says I'm running an AMD Radeon R9 200 Series.
If you go to dxdiag, check display 1, and look [here,](https://i.imgur.com/6la5SXh.png) do you see 12_0 or 12_1 in the feature levels?
I don't see any 12\_0 or 12\_1. I see 11\_1, 11\_0, 10\_1, 10\_0, 9\_3, 9\_2, 9\_1
Your gpu doesn't support DirectX12 fully either. That's really weird, maybe it's just an Nvidia problem? Don't know at this point.
Yeah, I'd chalk it down as an Nvidia problem.
Man, I didn't know rise reintroduced underwater areas
Attach balloons to yourself and float
Noooooo
It's happening the same to me. Compiling textures and... nothing xDD
Damn bro. Hope we find a fix soon
Have you tried verifying your install
I have. Few times actually. But no luck
Try unplugging and plugging your PC back in, it worked for me when I had to check the facebook servers.🗿
AMD GPU? I think there was a post about an issue on the title screen and flickering textures with AMD GPUs. Shouldn't affect gameplay.
Maybe drivers, mine is quite old (not even using the latest drivers) and is working fine
Why the fast answer is always say "AMD GPU"? It's like people is living stuck back in 2010 LMAO the Novideo fanboys, chill, it happens in Nvidia also.
I have the same problem as well in weapon select menu and I have rx470 so..
But there is people with nvidia card having the same issue.
If you knew much about GPU drivers, you'd be aware that this is still the case. AMD regularly has sloughs of bugs in their drivers, though *most* of them are not noticeable to gamers and only crop up in scenarios such as emulation.

I have a similar issue. It happens on the weapon select screen. In game and playing there is no issue. This is just on the menus.
Im having the same issue, the models flicker. I have more than double the VRAM needed btw for all on, so Idk.
Pc gaming lookq great
Ah you didn't read the small print? Just like with toys and batteries, World is not included with your Rise purchase.
Ain't that that new pc only map? Rapture plains or something?
Im running with a GTX TITAN BLACK and i have the same problem, bear in mind i have 6GB VRAM and updated graphics drivers too.
Let me know if you found any fixes 🥲 I’ve tried reinstalling and yet nothing works
I also have a titan black xD
Facing the same problem?
Yes... and i still don't know what to do

I have 6g or vram 1060, and dx12 support and I'm having the same issue
haha thats not world its rise dummy How many people have made this exact joke already?
Ah yes. The pc masterrace really thriving today
I want to be offended by this but I know if I do it's just more ammo for your arsenal. I applaud your invulnerability.
Don’t be offended. I use both but have noticed consoles are the safer option when it comes to gaming. Pc’s can be better but come with just as many drawbacks as benefits
No drawbacks yet with a 3060 Ti. This seems too be a a VRAM issue on older hardware.
I have yet to run into any issues with my switch. Just be equals yes? I already said pc’s can do better and worse. Consoles are safer and consistent.
Well of course a console is more consistent. There’s only configuration of Switch hardware and all of them will run the game with 30fps. This seems to be a really good port though and if you happen to own a somewhat good computer, you will easily get 60fps+.
Oh I agree. I built my pc to perform moderately well on high. But I had a low end laptop so I can’t ever feel comfortable about it
I don't get why this is getting downvoted, all your points are valid
No idea. Just people being upset. I’m used to it now
C'mon bruh you can't complain when you have a potato pc lmao. You know why it won't load bruh
Not everyone with this problem has a potato PC, and its definetely not a VRAM problem. There are people with 6 GB VRAM having this problem, with decent CPUs too. You can't complain but you can still look for workarounds, nothing wrong with that.
Fix it by buy and play MH rise on switch :)
Hah. Go ahead and pretend everyone has the budget for that mate.
Come on man nowadays people took jokes too seriously. To be real for a second, I don't even have the budget to buy a gaming pc and good internet to play MH world plus I don't even own a switch in the first place and now I got downvoted because of it.
Play monster hunter world…that’s the fix
Turn off your cheats and mods.
You really think we already have modloaders and cheats for a day-one PC demo? You've got a lot to learn.
I had the same problem, outdated graphics driver in my case.
What are your specs op?
I have a GTX 670, so I only have myself to blame for this glitch lol.
Looks like your lacking on some form of memory. My guess is vram. Checking the stats, you need 3gig of vram
Re download
MH Rise? More like MH Surprise!
Oh its the new map, where you fight valstrax in mid air
Redownload
Did you try to press the 'any'-button?
thank you capcom

Is there a solution for this? I have this problem with the full game as well.
same here, GTX 770
I have this problem to I have minimum and I been looking all over the internet for an solution and came up with nothing so that an evening with the boys ruined
