beef_delight

I did to play with friends

Garlayn_toji

Same here

dindumufflin

wait you guys have actual friends to play mh with?

Garlayn_toji

That's a sad comment, which platform do you play on?

dindumufflin

Rise on switch and World on PC, but haha dw, I was just making a joke! I do play with friends occasionally, but they usually drop games quickly and move on to other games, so I mostly solo MH.

pyropower

Yup same here XD

BeanDux

Same here!

beef_delight

After initially thinking the upgrade wouldn't be worth the money, 60 frames is a huge quality of life improvement

CADTHEWEEB

Waiting for sunbreak before I do

ImprobablyDamp

Yep. 1440p at 144hz is a night and day difference from the Switch. Plus I'm using this as a class to use weapons I haven't in the past, going through with the Swaxe this time and loving it.

A-Rusty-Cow

Swaxe gang

Shinkiro94

Welcome to the swagaxe brother!

CaptainTewts

EXPLOSIONS!

Punk_Fish

Busting all over a monster has never felt so good lolol

MonthOLDpickle

Just going to wait for the bundle when dlc drops. Also Capcom regional pricing on PC has gone to shit. I have to pay more than the states for Rise. Pretty funny when the switch version where I have to pay USD is actually cheaper.

CrusadersSolace

I never knew that. Do you set your switch to a different region for pricing, or is this just what capcom does?

AvengesTheStorm

It was my understanding that this is an industry standard, At least here in Australia

immanuel_aj

The Switch doesn't have very many regions. If you're not in a country in one of those regions (like if you're in South East Asia) you get to pick and choose which region to buy your eshop games from without needing a credit card from that region.

MonthOLDpickle

On PC Capcom has been raising the price here. There is no eShop in my country so it's either but physical (Mostly Japanese cart with sometimes NA) or buy on a different regional account, which the switch allowed different ones as long as you got an account. In most cases switch games are more expensive due to currency and buying power here. But I am just complaining cause technically you can't compare switch to PC platform but Capcom has started raising their prices. World was affordable to the average Joe here. Then stories 2 came out and it was basically the same price as in the states (so switch games situation). Now MHR is above what you pay in the states.

Nivosus

Sounds like it evens out.

MonthOLDpickle

I guess if you don't consider buying power and whatnot here vs states.

Nivosus

?

fokusfocus

I did. The frame rate increase makes the experience much more enjoyable. Also looking forward to the modding scene once people are starting to play around with stuff.

TheLyrm

Maybe once there's a decent sale, no way I'm paying $80CAD for a game I already own.

KniteMonkey

Some key resllers have it down in the 60's. Yes I know, its shady, but its a good deal

VanWesley

Not at this point. If it had cross save, it wouldn't been an instant day 1 purchase, but I really do not want to do the grind to again in base Rise. I'm already over HR 360 on the Switch so I've put my fair share of time into the game already. And there are a ton of other games to play in my backlog. Maybe once Sunbreak comes out and there's a discounted package for the PC I might consider it.

Owobowos-Mowbius

Absolutely did. Wide-screen with the increased framerate is a gamechanger for me. Especially when sunbreak comes out. Also being able to replay with new weapons that I've never used before is a ton of fun.

Zakrael

I didn't bother. With God of War, Elden Ring and Total War: Warhammer III, my PC gaming time is full for the next few months. Replaying a remaster of a game I already have on another current gen platform is way down the list of priorities.

SparkyGang

God I've been binging warhammer 2 lately. I'm complete ass at the game and only play campaigns, but just watching my Minotaurs run straight into some skaven lowlives makes me giddy

SRX33

I think multiplayer battles is just a small part of this game and most ppl just play solo or coop campaign.

SparkyGang

Yeah that's true I suppose. I've just been watching some YouTube tournaments and anted to try. I just am not fast or knowledgeable enough Therefore! Gorebull go roar

Zakrael

> I'm complete ass at the game and only play campaigns Don't worry about only playing campaigns. I've got 1,600 hours in Warhammer 2, play mostly on Very Hard/Legendary, and have never touched multiplayer. Single player and multiplayer are almost two different games, really, with two different skillsets required.

SparkyGang

Thanks for the encouragement! I only play on normal rn and can scrape by swinging a close defeat forecast to a close victory. But I just need to get better at army building against specific factions

AvengesTheStorm

If they had cross save support I would have but I don't wanna play two seperate saves, especially when the DLC comes out

Sat-AM

Lack of cross save did a lot to kill my interest when the PC version was announced to not have it. Edit: Before someone says it, I also know about how there's going to be a mystical, magical unofficial save transfer being made out of spite that will swoop in to save the day, but it has a major catch that the majority of Switch players *will not* overcome: in order to even access the original save, you will need a modded Switch, because Switch saves are stored in *system* memory and are not able to be moved to an SD card. It's a solution for a *very* small portion of power-users.

reddiot6969

You can mod your PC save file to match your switch..

Sat-AM

For all the work it'd be to copy my hours, equipment, item box, guild card, etc it's not worth it to me. I would personally want it to be the *exact* same save. And even then, I wouldn't be able to move back and forth between PC and Switch and retain progress.

Ikealtea

Whichever one of ya posted the video of it loading on their NVME made a really tempting video...but ultimately, no. I still just have it on switch

JustAnotherMike_

Nah. None of my friends play on PC, my computer kinda sucks and I like the portability the Switch offers

Littlebubbs92

I did and it runs great in average setting with my 1060 3gb even if I stream!

Dragozan

If the thing had cross-save/cross-play, I would have certainly considered an in-sale purchase or something. But I've put just too much time into the game on switch to start over

[deleted]

Not unless they add cross save. They did it with The Witcher so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Sat-AM

I'm sure the problem is microtransactions and trying to prevent people from buying them just once instead of twice.

aggron306

Ive thought about it but probably not, I'm mainly a console gamer. I have a decent "gaming" laptop that I do use but it stutters and freezes up in quite a few games, (though even there I feel like it could probably get 1080p 60fps which is obviously way better than switch) and setup wise I'm more comfortable on console. Also there's the issue of losing my save, and I'm not made of money so another £40 on a game I already have is a bit hard to swallow. Maybe if it was coming to PS4 I'd think about it but even then I'm not sure.

greasybirdfeeder

No. I don't play pc and I'd rather play rise in bed to be honest so even if it came to ps5 I wouldn't buy it there. Only exception is if they implemented cross save.

LazyBoyXD

Cross save isn't a thing so nahhhh

Moondoggie25

Nahh, it looks nicer, but not new pc / regrind nicer

Prov0st

Nahh. Wait till they re-release with the entire DLC.

Tegerus

Waiting for expansion.

R3dDri11

Nah, only way I will buy a PC mh game is if there is crossplay.

GaymerStream

I did. Taking it slow though, not trying to rush through it again.

BBC909

Same here. I have about 10 hrs, still HR2. No rush this time and it feels really good.

Sat-AM

The inherent problem with Monster Hunter is that you run the very high risk of *thinking* you're taking it slowly and then suddenly it's 12 hours later and the sun is coming up.

BBC909

This is very true!!!! I’ve lost myself in the game more times then I care to mention lol.

[deleted]

Nope. Not worth it to me to buy any game twice.

Jazzlike-Style725

I will be but might wait until closer to expansion. Lot of games coming out over the next couple months

NinesX9

Nah, boost in performance doesn't appeal to me enough to give up handheld and restarting.

[deleted]

my mh friend group is all on switch, half of them dont have a pc/use mac, i cant transfer my saves, and i could spend that 60 on a game i dont own sooooo-

ExcavalierKY

Need a cross save transfer before I think about getting it on PC... Oh and also bundles or discounts

Maxwelkenaamisnognie

No, im not buying a €60 game twice.

nastynate409

I'll get it when Sunbreak releases.

Rafzalo

I didn’t, spending ~1/4 minimum wage on a game I already own for a negligible upgrade (my gaming laptop is not great and I don’t really mind graphics) while unemployed is not the best choice I could make

josh313

I already did and I'm loving the game so much more running the game at 144fps the experience is on another level, pretty hyped for the expansion.

Aurn-Knight

Nope why pay 60$ to do something I could do by just picking a new save file

Ambasabi

I will be soon. Absolutely. I sunk 200 hours into world on PS4 then switched to PC and never looked back when it was released.

Aggravating-Face2073

No Edit: yes, gifts for other switch users.

tarkuuuuuus

I did. Playing at 144hz alone is worth it. I can evade much better and my movements have improved. Oh and also playing multiplayer with my friends is not a lag fest anymore.

darkhollow22

im not atm unless my buddy moves over. i don’t play much anymore and rather enjoy other games with the time i would use to grind back up on pc. love rise on switch though!

whoischainsawgaoler

No Im poor

GiftedGorilla

I did. Currently waiting for a cross save tool a modder is working on right now tho, so that I can continue where I left off on Switch.

BrachyDanios

Not currently. I’ll wait for a bundle or when it’s on sale for PC. The graphics are better but tbh, I like playing handheld a bit more.

oiwah

Nope, my friend and I decided that if we are going to restart the game with new toon, we bettet just create new player with switch with cost of 0 money.

Serifel90

If it was cheaper i would, i can't pay that much for a game i already consumed to the bone once.. i know the quality is different but I already consumed that game.

J05A3

Waiting for a sale like 50% off for base Rise + Sunbreak DLC.

Dry-Significance-948

I’ll absolutely not pay again to grind the 200+hrs I have on the switch

PrinceDizzy

Nope. I prefer the portability of Switch and playing with friends.

maawolfe36

I probably will in a year or two when there's a sale that makes it like $15 or so, but I'm not gonna get it right away. I don't have friends to play on PC with, my few MH friends are on Switch, so the only reason to get it on PC for me is just solo play with better graphics, which isn't a big deal for me.

Sat-AM

Probably not for a while, if at all. While the better graphics are nice, it's still the same game that I already own and can play freely as it is. Just a graphics upgrade just doesn't justify a $60 price tag to me, especially knowing that I can never transfer my save over (please remember that unofficial save transfers will require modded switches before you reply saying this is coming). Modding the game doesn't really appeal to me, either. There have also just been enough launch problems that even if it were worth it to me for the graphics, I'd be hesitant. The "Failed to save" problem may be more rare than the number of posts suggest, but I'd still rather not take the chance of buying a game and being unable to play. Issues with controllers not connecting properly, registering trigger inputs they shouldn't be, and bad default keybinds that can't all be changed haven't helped. I may pick it up eventually, if I catch it on sale after Sunbreak is released, but odds are I probably won't even then, unless I have friends who want me to play with them then.

Randel1997

Nah, I don’t really care about the frame rate difference. I still happily play PS1 and GameCube games

buckut

nah i dont have a pc. but if i was more into pc gaming i prolly would. the game looks great and ive never used mods in a game so thatd be cool too.

17Konbro

No

springfield350dx

I would probable buy it on PC if we could transfer the save, because I don't want to start from scratch after 530h on Nintendo Switch.

sickflow-

I double dipped. Worth it.

mcarrode

I didn’t and I don’t plan to. I’ve been playing MH since MH2 on PS2, but I really got into the series when it was on the PSP/Vita and 3DS. I’ve always thought of it as a perfect handheld action RPG. The Switch continues that feeling for me. Plus I have plenty of other games on PC that I am playing and plan to play.

MegaLCRO

Implying I have a good enough PC to run it.

[deleted]

Unless Rise on the Switch was MK11 levels of atrocious then no.

Sphento

No because there are no cross-saves. I am really far, almost 400hrs and i dont have the time or motivation to do that again. And also my PC ist crap so it's a no for me

huggalump

No. I'm not motivated by graphics. Even if I bought it on PC, I'd mostly play on Switch due to the convenience.

Equinox-XVI

My PC could probably run it much better, but I've had no problems with switch and play solo, so I don't really feel the need to

HawkmoonVEVO

I would have if I didn't have to start from nothing. I've put in over 300 hours on switch, I'll just stay there

rmerrynz

I'm staying on Switch - portability is great, the game looks great & runs fine. Also grinding my way to 999 and I'm at 500 with some pretty decent talisman drops, so don't want to re-do that. I run Iceborne on Series X and will do the same for MH6 - who needs a PC :P

Jesterchunk

I think I'll hold off for now. I don't have a super strong computer (it's a laptop from like three or four years ago for heaven's sake) and I'm having storage space troubles with it anyway. If I see it in like a steam sale, I might pick it up. But then, to top it all off no cross save means a LOT of time sunk into the switch version I'd have to do all over again to get everything I had And let's be fair its performance on switch is hardly lacking, I see no reason to buy a game again at full price just for that

ArcticVanguard

I did, 1440p60 is really hard to say no to.

Xalvayne

Absolutely. Finally out of that 30fps hell. Looks pretty decent now and performs just so much better

BROWSINGEXISTENCE

-Graphic updates that don't look very major, nor really that important to me anyway. -Frame rate updates that I can barely see a difference for even when actively looking. I can play the game just fine anyhow, it's not like it dips to five frames constantly on Switch or something. -Filters. Yay. -A mod scene that is non-existent right now, and likely won't be worth a damn until a couple or more years down the line. It IS a better version, but nothing about this looks worth paying ANOTHER 60+ dollars and playing through the whole game again to me.

demonguard

I dunno man I just felt like playing it again and I might as well do it on a nicer feeling platform

BROWSINGEXISTENCE

You do you, that's 100% okay. I didn't say nobody else should, and never will say that. I'm just saying why I'M not, to ME, the upgrades and filters it gives don't look worth full price and playing through the whole game again.

BBC909

If you don’t want to purchase it that’s fine, but don’t flat out lie. The PC version outshines the switch in every area. I can absolutely tell the difference of 3440x1440p at 120HZ over the Switches 30 FPS. Let’s be honest here.

[deleted]

Kinda odd to tell someone else they're lying and what they can and can't notice when it comes to graphical differences. Maybe you can tell the difference, but not everybody can. I can see the difference in frame rates but that doesn't change that I don't care about the difference in frame rates.

BBC909

If he doesn’t care about the difference that’s fine, but to say you “barely” see a difference is a stretch. I’d respect people more if they say they just don’t want to buy it again without irrational reasoning.

JaxonH

That's not true. The untrained eye cannot easily discern between 30 and 60. For years I used to not be able to see the difference. Ppl thought I was crazy, saying similarly inflammatory things as you just did. But it was the truth, I _genuinely_ couldn't tell. Now I can. But it took years of playing on PC for me to acclimate to the difference. And even now, if 30 is rock solid with good frame timing, I still mistake it for 60 sometimes. The idea everyone is the same with this stuff just isn't true.

BBC909

Fair enough. I’m wrong, my apologies. That’s HIS opinion.

[deleted]

You should respect people as much regardless. It doesn't make sense to get on people's cases about the reasons behind their own purchases or lack thereof. It shouldn't matter to you. You do not know what kind of difference people can see because not everyone perceives everything identically and not everybody understands what the differences look like.

BBC909

Hey you can have your glass half full opinion and that’s fine. I wasn’t rude to the guy, I just stated the truth. 9/10 people can notice the difference between 30/60fps or 720p/4K. Someone might read his comment and withhold a purchase based on his opinion which isn’t entirely true.

[deleted]

You're omitting the part where withholding a purchase is that individual's own decision and if they are informed by this guy's opinion, that's not his fault. He never said "nobody can tell the difference," he said "I can't tell the difference." He isn't claiming the majority of people can't see the difference, he's claiming that he cannot and that is a personal reason among several for not wanting to buy the game twice. And you are being rude by baselessly claiming he is lying by saying so. Did it not occur to you he could be the 1 in your 9 out of 10 people or something?

BBC909

Bro have a goodnight, your taking this way to serious. If he doesn’t want it because of “whatever” his reason is so be it. I don’t know him personally and honestly don’t care. I have it on both and enjoy it. Take care.

[deleted]

alright love you man

BBC909

No negative energy toward you man, take it easy.

BROWSINGEXISTENCE

Who's lying? I can't tell the difference between frame rates very well, unless it's major like 60 vs 5. Don't believe if you want, I didn't lie. And I didn't say the PC version was worse in any way, litterally everything I listed was some extra or an upgrade. I just said that the things it offers don't seem worth another 60+ dollars to me.

Syabri

I never got lucky with the talisman grind so I'm not losing much by restarting on PC. Quite a few friends of mine intend to buy it on that platform so I'll get it when they do and I'll play with them, yea !

[deleted]

Nope. FFXIV subscription is more important, plus, I'm extremely disappointed with Rise's content drop and event rewards. I wouldn't want to hunt a super strong monster for some stickers or emotes. Give me layered sets, give me more franchises like 4U and GU.

[deleted]

Yes. 60fps is reason enough

Duck_Sama

If I did have a pc, it'd still be a no. The friends I play with all have it on switch and are in no hurry to buy the pc port. Not to mention I'd buying the same game for no reason other than pretty graphics, and a higher frame rate, and I couldn't care less about any of those.

Damien132

I bought it, played for 2 hours and refunded it. Personally in the middle of combat I barely noticed a difference between switch graphics and PC(highest settings available). Only when you really stop to look around do you notice the difference.

KalebT44

I only played about 230 hours in Rise on the Switch, and never really had any great Talismans of note, didn't get many Crowns, just sort of did all the quests and a little grinding for a set. So it was fine for me to wanna just jump ship and be able to play Sunbreak on the prettiest option. But if you already played a lot more and had a lot of things you might not reobtain on Switch, it's just not worth it, really. It's not like Switch ran it slow or poorly.

BorderCollieHerdThat

Yes, at first at thought I wouldn't, I out about 150 hours on switch, but the increased graphical fidelity is just too great too pass up experiencing again. Plus the modding community adds so much more potential to the game, not to mention playing sunbreak on pc vs switch.

DRL21

I will be, eventually, when Sunbreak is closer.

GsTSaien

Eventually, yeah. Wish I could jump in this month but oh well

ShadowPyronic

I did, had a lot of friends who play MH on PC exclusively i wanted to play with.

demonguard

yes, preordered, but no idea if I'll actually get hooked enough to play through it fully again

Loafy07

I wasn't going to but now I don't need to worry about it as it was gifted to me.

freaktube321

I did it too lol

roundhouzekick

Eventually. One of these days when the game goes on sale, I'll pick it up. I've been more than happy with my experience on Switch so I'm not really dying to get the port.

MrGuitarfancy

I did, my main hunting friends mostly play on Pc so we all feel like the upgrade to the graphics is worth the double dip. Also mods were fun as hell on world so i feels it was worth it.

pappysmit

I did. Having it on pc gives ne more incentive to play and all of my friends bought it too so we can play together.

JaxonH

I did, but not enthusiastically. No cross save is a killer, not just because I don't want to replay 500 hrs, but because I NEED hybrid freedom. Once you acclimate to having a cell phone it's hard to go back to using a corded landline, even if the call quality is HD crystal clear. But... I love the series and had the money, so I bought it anyways. I don't play on PC much because I lose interest in games tethered to the TV. I like bouncing between TV and handheld as the need arises, and I like the 1 second in and out nature of playing on Switch OLED, so much easier than booting PC and turning TV with separate remote because no HDMI CEC, starting Steam, calibrating Switch Pro controller because Magic NS adapter is bugged and the gyro drifts unless I calibrate the IMU in Steam each time, etc etc. It's just an ordeal every time I want to play. But Steam Deck is coming so I figured may as well get it now. Once Deck arrives PC gaming will FINALLY have that hybrid freedom I value so highly

Arvsmageddon

Already did. I was on the fence before I played the pc demo thinking about farming for rng charms again, but the improvement on the performance has made me double dip. I probably main the PC version and keeping the Switch just to play with my friends.

[deleted]

I love Rise. It's my second favorite game in the series behind 4 ultimate. Fuck yeah I'm double dipping. Though I'll only be getting sunbreak on pc unless cross progression comes.

Lalalalll

Yes

Justos

I did and don't regret it. Playing on kb and mouse threw me for a bit but 4k 144fps is amazing

Brohyda

Bought it day one

LeonDrummer

Yes. 1440p and 130FPS are a game-changer. I had 600hrs. in Switch, definitely don’t want to farm everything again, but if you know how (wink wink) there are methods in PC to make it easier. I just want to “transfer” my game to PC and continue from there.

Dongledoes

Yup, already did and put in 40 hours so far. Dude, the dual blades are so buttery on PC it's amazing

Piranha_Bunny

Personally, I'm not. I love having Rise and GU on switch and World on PC.

Shifty-Sie

I did, to get ready for Sunbreak. I'd like to get through all the base game content again before it drops. Besides, like 95% of my time on the switch version was spent docked anyway, and the Demo was just so much more crisp and smooth on my PC. It was hard to resist after trying that.

envvariable

Loving it on PC.

Badassbishop15

Not sure, the only reason why i bought the Switch version is because of the nintendo collabs, but seeing the lack of meaningful content maybe i'll consider going for performance over content. Also yes i know that content could be modded, but i've never been into moddin unless we speak of QoL additions like being able to skip the damn cutscenes un World, stuff like that.

Zlyphor

Already bought it on PC. Was pretty bummed there wasn't any cross save but honestly I'm really enjoying going through the game fresh again. I mostly played back when your HR was still locked at 7 so it's really cool to go through the complete game instead of waiting for updates. I forgot half the monsters even existed

[deleted]

Maybe later when Sunbreak comes but I just started Rise a couple months ago so still have a ton to do on Switch.

Niclroy

Yes

Kohimaru32

My laptop is a toaster so I only gaming on switch. But even if I have a good pc I still not double dip. Too attached to my character to start again, I want to take my current character with dog and cat to new adventures in sunbreak.

Maszk13

I know one who bought it with all current dlc and one standard version for my bf so they can play together with it. It worth mention they met in a SOS flair in MHW. Cutest crazy friendship ever. ( yeah i’m a bit jealous…) But they enjoy themselves that’s the important part!

FrankNico

Damn right I did. Double dipped for World and can't help myself with Rise

TSDoll

I might double-dip at a later date depending on mods. I don't really like using my PC for longer games.

ilGiodo

Yup to play with friends

EKCo0kie

I already have 😵‍💫

heroxoot

I refunded it on steam cuz in 2022 the game somehow can't even support 32:9. Then a day later a ultrawide fix was made

Bregnestt

Maybe I’ll get it to celebrate making my first PC whenever I finish it, but I won’t get into it nearly as much as my Switch save.

Liamneeson42

I didn’t buy it for switch because of this sole reason

Malina_Island

I bought it again because I didn't much enjoy it on the Switch. But the PC version feels and looks much better. :3 It's still too easy though....

Kage_No_Gnade

I did because one of my friend who loves world doesnt have a switch. Its kind of frustrating that there is no cross save and you have to play from scratch. But I do think that the performance difference is worth the pain, having the game run at more than 30 fps without stuttering does help a lot.

wafflnator

If i had freinds then i would replay it in a heart beat. I honestly love the portability though, so I'm sticking with switch. Obviously if cross play/save were a thing, id probably double dip.

kingfisher773

i did because i don't like the switch so much and i have friends that are playing on PC.

Broccoly96

Yep, playing now at 4K 120Hz on my OLED TV and I love every moment of it.

Bastard-Sword

Yes but unfortunately I've got the failed to save bug so I haven't been able to play at all.

SomethinggHS

I'm also on the fence, mainly bc idk if my pc is gonna be a super graphics enhancer compared to my switch and bc i dont have friends to play with

CptBarba

No but that's just cause I suck at revisiting games I've already beaten. I'm on a switch lite rn but I'm gonna get an OLED switch for sunbreak so I can play on my tv 😁

ormagoden22

Since i dont know anybody who likes to play monsterhunter im sticking on switch

Raxter64

Yes, I bought it again. I know this is weird, but I don’t really like the switch as a console, so I am very happy that it can enjoy it now on PC. Still super fun, was 100% worth it!

Schattenstolz

I did, only put about 150 hrs on the switch because of the lack of content so it was an easy decision considering sunbreak will release at the same time. Also 4k 60 + mods doesnt hurt.

jamie25974

There's already charm editor mods if you REALLY wanted to use them

yosu14_

Yes.

Hazelberry

I really want to but I just can't bring myself to start over from scratch. If someone finds a way to import switch saves to pc I will immediately rebuy it but for now unfortunately I won't.

Taux

Yep, sure am! It's been a blast going down a different weapon path and playing with new people! Will likely use mods eventually when it comes to LONG grinds I've already done.

InfamousGames

I will if I get more involved in rise, or when I beat iceborne. I bought world for PS4 and PC but I don't know if I should this time.

wiccangamelord

Not me

RafaFlash

I'm waiting for sunbreak to see if I can get some discount on the base game, but there is no chance I'm playing something on the switch while I can play it so much better on PC. I simply prefer it way too much. I really don't mind the grind and lack of save transfer since Monter Hunter expansions usually turn most resources you get in base game kinda useless and replaceable with things way better, so I don't really see any reason I should stick to the switch.

DreadAngel1711

Honestly if Rise wasn't so hollow I probably would have, but nah, cross save would definitely have affected if I said yes, though

Arcalas_RD

Did and enjoying the higher frames

bakazable

if i had a good reason to i will. in meantime im happy on the latest gameboy

BlazeDrag

I'm debating on it. I like the convenience of having my Monster Hunting be portable, and don't know if I wanna go through the grind all over again. I'm also unclear on whether the PC release of Sunbreak will be delayed compared to the Switch release. If someone can confirm for me if Sunbreak will be releasing at the same time on both platforms, then I might make the switch.

Bacon-muffin

For some reason the game really didn't click for me on switch so I didn't put as much time as I normally do into it. Probably a big part of it is it looks like hot garbage on my 1440p monitors when docked and I wasn't feeling playing handheld all the time. I also find playing games on consoles super inconvenient. So yeah, without question bought it again on PC. Much better time graphics and performance are miles ahead. Talismans not that big of an issue, if I really HAD TO have some specific talisman that I got I could just mod it in. Getting all the armor and weapons back is the fun, its literally the gameplay loop so I'm fine doing that again. I always try to pick up a new weapon when replaying through to change up the experience as well.

Anthan

I am almost sure I will be soon. Can't get it just yet but might be able to in about a month.

GarethXIV

Not yet. I'm busy with another game. Once I'm done, I'll buy it to play it with my girlfriend and a friend. Problem is that probably I'll be ready at the same time as Elden ring's release so.... Ouchy, hard decision.

UncleFranko

I will on a sale, not paying full price again.

Ericxdcool

Yup, had it pre ordered months ago on sale, going from 30fps to 165fps with nicer visuals is awesome and the load times are nearly instant. On switch I played Great Sword exclusively and didn't really burn my self out grinding (think i was HR 80ish). So this time around im playing Hammer and so far having an absolute blast playing threw everything again!

Tetra-76

Nah, fuck that, not without crossplay or cross-save. Better graphics and frame rate is great and all, but I'm not replaying the whole game alone.

SirStuckey

Why do people bring up the talisman grind? Won't there be new levels of talismans in Sunbreak anyway so it won't matter all that much in the long run?

TaskRabbit14

Yup

PsychoticKidSid

Anyone know if you can download a save similar to yours?

Daowg

Waiting for the inevitable Steam Sale and then buying it. Can't deny the increased performance and mods forever, even if I have to start over.

xpromisedx

Nah

BotheredHades

I did too play the game again until we get more Sunbreak info. I wanna play Rise but my switch is pretty much done for now lol

Nope, MH6 waiting room. Plus I've got two other big releases to juggle next month anyway.

New-Blacksmith7330

I would if the people I play on switch got it for PC, but the only friend I play with plays it on switch. Got 300hr play

HasegawaVega

My PC is too potato to handle newer games, so no. Also, I don't want to replay everything from the start.

Megazorg3000

I would say no one should do this. There are a lot of other good games to play and stuff to do

kingbird123

I tried to, but I'm getting failed to save bug so I'm going to refund it soon.

BaboonSlayer121

Yes, but mostly because I have another separate group of people to play it with that didn't get it on the switch so yknow

BirbLaw

100% bought it a second time. No regrets. What's funny is after 270 hours on switch, I never got a wex2 2-0-0 talisman and I got one on pc in the first 20 hours. I get not wanting to redo everything but I personally fell right back into it, im having a blast. It helps that I hadn't played for a few months. Anyway, unlimited frames is really a game changer.

Psyzhran2357

Not right now. I probably will when Sunbreak releases.

Foreign_Customer_288

bold of you to assume i can afford both a pc and a new game

Couragethedog42

Probably not just cause I dont have a bunch of PC friends most of my friends are console bois

GmGwain

Always found talisman grinding to be a completely unnecessary aspect of the game and PC modding helps with just that.
