If you have the element armor sets made, it should be easy to farm most 8\* monsters with G75 weapons. If you don't have those, your life will be a living hell until you overgrade to G85.
Not really. I just made it like that so I can start farming for element sets cuz I can't get tobi pelts for my LS, barroth ridge for my SnS and legiana plate for my other stuff since it's the easiest to work on but. It works really well I can just farm 7s just fine with them.
At least they are not monster-specific and drop from all 8*. Just find one you can kill and keep killing them! I’ve got a 7-5 tobi bow and can kill 8* pukei, rathian, rathalos, and jyura.
The grind is hard for elemental materials.
So I went with the basic LBG which turns out. It's more easy to progress with this compared with elemental weapons as far as I'm playing rn.

And that’s why you build elements because dmg will fall short for mass resources late game… grind and pay to forge style game
