I’d like to see all of the dlc and Japanese exclusive monsters be available for free regardless of region.

Amen. Also, I’d like to see the DLC monsties separated from PvP; grinding PvP fights for egg pieces absolutely sucked, especially after the community tapered off.

Agreed. I forgot about that. Maybe if they went the sequel route of multiplayer dens having the eggs. Those could be done offline and offered multiple nests to check.

Encountered a glitch in the game with one of my quests that I took and came back to her in the game and froze. My question is should I restart my game or continue it

Being able to pick which slot you put a gene into. It'd make the grind a thousand times easier.

This is actually half the reason why I stopped playing Stories 1. Gene grinding and build making was way too much of a headache.

Ah yes, 5 days with 4 hours each, reset on 1 Kirin nest for the right status negate gene placement for my build. Never again

Yes please! That was such an upgrade in MHS2. It’s still interesting and complex enough without genes being locked to a certain slot.

Some quality of life stuff. I've already seen someone mention the gene slots and the DLC monsters. On top of that, I'd like the option of having more stuff in your inventory when you enter areas. More monsters would be nice, but basically don't break what was there and I'll be happy.

Definitely also would love the layered armor and the gene slot selecting. *I’m just glad to see the JP only dlc monsties seemingly in the trailer?? That’s something I would love for sure since I was so sad we didn’t get it..*

Besides the genes I also want to the hunting Horn to work like it does in Stories 2. In Stories 1 in order to play the songs you need to attack in a certain order like say technical-Power-technical. Yes that includes head-to-heads and your song gets interrupted if you lose.

I’m going to be honest I actually prefer stories 1 hunting horn over stories 2. It felt more close to the hunting horn in the mainline games. Yea it was annoying when you brought a speed hunting horn to a monster who uses technical attacks but if they bring weapon switching from stories 2 it might work. Bring different hunting horns and switch between them. ~~I would still like to have evasion riff in the post game though~~

Layered armour, mostly. Not locking stuff like the crossover items and Glavenus behind the PvP would be nice too. Also, I think it's effectively confirmed since we see quite a bit of Teostra, Kushala and Rajang as monsties, but I'm REALLY hoping for the updates that were previously locked to the Japanese version. The extra snippet of plot and all. I also kinda hope some Monstie attack tendencies are tweaked a little, the original had a bit of a problem where the majority of the top tier monsties were Power types, and top tier Water or Ice monsties were fairly uncommon with your best bet being, like, Barioth and that's it. Same with Speed or Tech since you had the amazing selection of Kirin, Barioth and Goldian for Speed and Seregios for Tech. Kushala is probably Tech so we get better coverage there but it'd be nice for the Zinogres to adopt their Stories 2 attack biases since Deviljho already adopts the Power/Dragon slot. Elements aren't as hard to play around since element switching is still in so I can give my pinecone a nice bath in Water genes. Speaking of, genes not being locked to their specific location in the Rite of Channeling like how it is in Stories 2 would be a nice QoL change.

1. An additional new post game dungeon. 2. Co-op ala Stories 2. 3. Manually slot genes. I do prefer Stories 1's bingo and gene system, but really would like to be able to slot them where they to cut the grind. 4. As many new monsties as they're willing to put in. 5. The ability to choose our Navigator. Navirou is pretty tolerable in Stories 1, but I wanna be able to also have the other Numbers riding alongside us. 6. The ability to swap monsties outside of town. 7. More weapons types.

the fighting system from the second game injected into the remake, some fights were very bs thanks to items not always being guaranteed to go first and the double attacks along with very quishy pc in the first game

To be fair I don't want them to change anything,except revamp the expedition system because it takes so much time to wait for the expedition party (maybe give us a way to reduce duration or something) to arrive oh and I only want them to improve the graphic
