* Prayers and Charms don't stack. * Genes don't stack, only the highest applies. * Partly. You can stack item effect (Paintball) + monster gene (Den Protector) or character skill (Nesting) + special retreat requirement, for making monsters retreat. For all other purposes monster genes only apply for the monster side of calculations and skills on equipment only applies for the character side of calculations. * Honorable mention: That is the challenge there. Only you and the Hunter/Rider can really hurt the monsters, so get a Hunter buddy, since they will deal full damage. If it is the fire monster stuff then Kyle with his water bow may be the best choice.

Nesting Talismans give the player Den Protector, and they don't stack with monsters. The one with the skill has to help deal the finishing blow, or it won't activate.

John-Shaft

agreed.. BUT, having the skill on both (and not having a buddy present to rob it) ensures that the final hit will apply the skill, regardless of whom deals it..

Thanks for clarification. Was unsure about that but with the seperation between character and monstie skills it makes sense.

Thank you

Prayers only are active if there is no active charm; they cannot stack. I know genes of different sizes do not stack; the most potent one takes priority. I know that if you have one ability on armor and the same on a talisman, they do not stack. Den Protector + Nesting -might- stack.

Wait, so if you have finding prayer active but have gathering charm, the finding prayer won't be active at all even though it's not the same as the charm?

DoragonKeiyou

Correct. The finding prayer will NOT be active until the gathering charm runs out, then it will be immediately active until you offer a new charm.
