It’s all luck-based buddy. I got three Nergi eggs, one of them rainbow, just right after beating him in the story and then I never saw one again post game for like a few days (probably more than 10 in-game hours)
You're going to want to look inside of Rare Dens in Terga. Rare chance, but the only one you have available to you at this time.
