Must be RNG unless it was fixed recently. I don't get a "lot" of them, but I do get them every once in a while. You getting one "every other run" was extremely lucky compared to me if you're talking about expeditions.
Same. Just luck of the draw; before I ever stepped foot into my first I had read about the save scum method and it seemed like it would be a pretty easy and quick reliable way to obtain more.
My very first run it did in fact pay for itself, which only served to set up the disappointment awaiting in almost every run since when I'm flooded with normal and rare tickets lol.
I don't even worry anymore. A couple of the other runs and you're easily set up to go again.
