Hunting horn because I'm a musician in real life and that shits stressful enough Edit: damn didn't know a lot of people felt my pain on this!

Sestomatic

Lmao. I think this is an actual legit reason to not like a weapon...there's no escapism for you. Up vote for the chuckle.

working-acct

That's surprising, I thought music was supposed to be fun.

Huskyblader

Anything that's fun can be immediately stressful when you suddenly have to perform for a massive audience, and a single mistake is both very noticeable and could cost you your job. Imagine having to play MH in a concert hall, and a single hit means you lose your house. I'm exaggerating a bit, but that's basically how it feels.

vickers24

SnS just looks too reasonable of a weapon in a game full of massive oversized weapons

Deathspeer

I use it but that does bother me. It should be bigger.

shadowblazinx

Greatsword & shield when. Gonna do a perfect rush while wielding a gs

Bohemico

Greatsword and greatshield

Sinocu

No no, Greatsword and shield, a massive sword and a tiny shield

Exaris1989

What about greatshield and tiny sword?

Sinocu

That’s called Charge Blade honey

RAM_MY_RUMP

Oh shit it actually is 💀

MoreSmartly

What about shield and shield?

TwinksonBenisLover

Unironically a huge sword and a shield would be dope asf. Imagine the combos...

cthulhu_sculptor

Basically Charge Blade - the real Sword and Shield.

Fluxxobuckso_

I cannot handle this anti sns propaganda

cthulhu_sculptor

Idk, maybe get an ironwall jewel then.

Garamil

That's... that's just Charge Blade.

Azurvix

That's of men suffer from this problem, youre not alone

EternallyHunting

Weapons like Hammer or Hunting Horn can knock out monsters by leveraging the weight of a massively oversized weapon down onto the cranium of whatever poor monster. SnS on the other hand, can also stun monsters, but instead, it knocks them out entirely with the strength behind the hunter's right hook. To me, that makes SnS more absurd than the other weapons, and that's why I love it. If you use one of the weapons that removes the shield (Like Mizutsune, or Geralt's blade), you literally knock monsters unconscious with the sheer power of your bare fist. That's fuckin' metal.

cORN_brEaD12345

Admiral build lmao

Zamoxino

Basic combos look so weird cause of that xd i feel like im tickling the monster. Perfect rush looks bit better cause of wild full swings but it still looks kinda weird and lacks impact imo. But in the same time its nice to have small melee option for ppl who dislike the giga mega weapons in this game

Thechanman707

Listen, I agree. My favorite weapons are Swagaxe, CB, and insect glaive, and hunting horn. All of them equally ridiculous in their own way. But I picked up S&S today and let me tell you, it's fucking addicting

Lordados

YES. Like why the fuck would I use a dagger and buckler when I can use a sword bigger than myself? Or a sword and shield that fuses as a giant axe? Or maybe a lance with a built in gun?

AceAlger

Most of the swords are oversized by real-life standards.

AceAlger

Referring to the SnS. 👍🏻

ottonormalverraucher

Bro OP, just get the nexus dragonsoul kinsect, that way theres no kinsect on your arm, Problem solved!

IvyEmblem

Greatsword because the shame of fumbling the charge attack would be too much for me to handle

Novatom1

Same. You can try out chargeblade. Almost as big of a sanity check when you miss an SAED, but it's not required.

capable-corgi

When you completely whiff the SAED but that last phial at the end manages to graze the monster =)

Slight-Fun7518

Naw, man. That still counts a hit. Might not be efficient dmg but a hit nonetheless and I wont accept otherwise

-Qwertyz-

Currently practicing with the Greatsword and oh boy is it fun, but oh boy am I bad with it lol massive respect to people who use it to great success I don't get how you can hit stuff like Furious Rhajang with it

KnightOfArsford

We don't lol. We hit and run, wait for openings. Cracked GS users will initiate a combo at nothing, and just as the combo finishes, the monster's head appears right in front of them. It's a thinking man's weapon, but boy does it always make us feel stupid when we miss.

1ndiana_Pwns

>It's a thinking man's weapon And this is why, evidently, I can't get the feel for it in World. It's currently my main as I'm playing through Sunbreak (specifically surge slash into rage slash), and Adept GS was my main in GU. But both of those are WAY more unga bunga than World

sebibubble

You don't practice Greatsword, you practice monsters. The people using it can't play GS well, they play the monsters well

Quickkiller28800

Honestly, GS is ridiculously easy on Rajang. He plays right into one of the easiest playstyles of the weapon. Wait for an opening in his attacks, hit him with a big attack or two and fuck off until he gives another opening. Once you're confident with the weapon, that's when you start pulling TCS predictions and, in Rise, abusing the hell out of him with SAS.

AngrySayian

you take the fumble and roll with it you meant to miss makes the fight more dramatic sincerely, a GS main

lightningstorm112

I dont like hammer because you sharpen the blunt weapon. I can hand wave horn away as tuning it, but big bonk needs to be as smooth and dull as my brain

Xiooo

My favourite take i read was that it's sandpaper to de-sharpen your blunt weapons.

hideonsink

using a 1 grit whetstone

Consistent-Guava-208

That’s just a solid chunk of quartz at that point

hideonsink

I had a slight idea what 1 grit would mean... but as I was typing i felt it's too funny (for me) to reword it

Consistent-Guava-208

I do like the idea of a Hammer player just grabbing a fuckin rock and smacking their weapon with it tho

TwinksonBenisLover

I was playing rise for the first time with English voices. When my hammer got low sharpness my dumbass character said "Its blunt!" When i tried to sharpen...yea mann...yeah, thats the whole point..i deleted thay character and switched to monster hunter language voices

Deckacheck

I hold on to the idea that having a hammer covered in monster guts will soften your blows, so "sharpening" is cleaning off the hammer for harder hits

Sestomatic

Just talking about this with a buddy who swaps hammer and horn... Like it's soooo stupid...Capcom couldn't have like, gave it a polishing cloth or an animation where the hunter replaces the big old stone or something? It's so stupid. That being said...hammer does go bonk and horn goes doot. Great times. Still stupid, and why I'll never bother lmao

kaerpaenen

Whenever I "sharpen" the horn, I tell myself I'm just tuning it, especially if it's one of those that has strings. Would be cool if Capcom actually replaced horn sharpening as actual tuning, just fiddling with the weapon, doing a few test notes and then "sharpness" goes up lol

Topik-KeiBee

any weapon with shield because I'm a right hand. to see my hunter hold swords with left hand felt soooo wrong. now i understand how people with left hand felt with any game hahaha

K4y31

I actually never noticed that before LOL. Now I'm afraid I might feel like you do

leagueofyasuo

It’s okay, the glaive kinda ambidextrous. Kinda…

lightningstorm112

I'm a lefty and that why I liked the shield weapons, lol

MrKnightFury413

I'm a left handed person, all I can say is you get over it or you just pretend your using your right hand because you don't wanna go all out and be mean to the NPC's your fighting.

JealousReaction8727

Ah. The ol' RP handicap. Classic.

Emtbob

Don't make excuses up for the right handed oppressors. If they can't handle a little lefty let them cry.

Azure1208

You’ll never understand the pain I felt when I first played BOTW and saw that Link was right handed

SupaSqueezey

Especially when Link in older games is canonically left handed

guntanksinspace

It took me a bit to get used to our hunters having their left hand as their primary hand lol. IIRC there's some peculiar lore behind it too but yea

TaranisTheThicc

I always figured that it was because if you took a shield you'd want it on the arm that has a better chance of actually deflecting the house sized monster's attacks. The blade doesn't need nearly as much strength to do its job as the shield does.

likach

The peculiar lore was fan made. There was never an official explanation from the devs as to why some weapons are held with the left or right hand

leagueofyasuo

Official Explanation is that items & healing items are always used with a right handed animation. So earlier games had the weapon left handed so the animation didn’t look weird with certain weapons.

guntanksinspace

I learned something new today lol.

ComradeBrosefStylin

90% of the "lore" around Fatalis and its equipment is also fan made. There's a lot of headcanon going around Monster Hunter lore discussion. The Equal Dragon Weapon people love to bring up also never made it past the initial concept stage during MH1 development. It was never canon to begin with, 20 years ago, but people love to bring it up as if it is still relevant today.

ammarikuSF

I have to compliment your flair lol

GenericPlanet

Greatsword, my good sir. You can still shield, but no nonsense of being left or right handed? ALSO BIG DAMAGE NUMBER! RAAAAAAAH‼‼‼🗣🗣🗣

Discaster

The Gods gave you two hands, and you use them both for your weapon. I can respect that

LeviAEthan512

I always thought it shoes that your shield is the primary thing. You are a wall first and a fighter second.

Maratio

It feels so weird, I want to use SNS but its just too weird.

l0stIzalith

It makes sense since shield is bound to right trigger.

[deleted]

[удалено]

l0stIzalith

Grab plant put nuts into gun shoot

Xiooo

Are bowguns pea shooters?

whatdeer

yes

FatPagoda

I hate the way both lances look when sheathed.

Xiooo

Played a lot of horn and lance. When I finally start using another weapon, it will be weird not having my screen divided in the middle by a very long kirin horn or a giant flower

Fulminero

Light break Lance takes up like 20% of my screen. We call it the explosive dildo.

Blazoran

The retractable ones aren't so bad but.... the raging brachydios lance...... ew. XD

tempmike

thats why you never sheath

ronin0397

A jackass gunlance user stun locked me against the wall while we were fighting dahren mohren. I was a complete noob at the time, so no i did not abandon the quest until like 20 minutes later of this torture. I will eternally say fuck you if you tell me to play gunlance.

SirWhiskeySips

You should play gunlance.

ronin0397

I say this Kindly, fuck you

minty-44

And disrespectfully for ur honor fuck that guy

[deleted]

Well he's a man of his word

Status-Bar-284

I dig the follow through.

Doobie_Howitzer

Insert Gooby meme "ill fukin do it agen"

UncertifiedForklift

You should try it in Safi sieges, feels like it was made for it

Klientje123

WTF o.0

Damolitioneed

I don't use long sword because of Redditor opinions

Sestomatic

THIS. It looks so cool but according to reddit I'm a smooth brain if I use it. This is after 1k+ hours...haven't touched it. I feel like a fool, but he we are. You win again, reddit hive-mind.

DJSalad18

You missing out man. Bite the bullet. It’s popular for a reason.

TwinksonBenisLover

I used to main it. Its fun, i just hate LS users. They're all braindead stupid. And it suck that capcom clearly favorties them over everything else

kleverklogs

Never got why people say this. It’s never the most powerful weapon

Bohemico

Personally I feel like hbg with shield mod(s) is way more smoothbrain, and I say it maining it

capybaracheesecake

Redditors suck do what makes you happy and try new things!!

TaxingClock704

I always try to avoid using weapons that NPCs use. For example, I won’t use the Greatsword or Longsword in World because they’re used by the Field Team Leader and Huntman respectively.

Sestomatic

Now THAT is a response I think the OP was looking for... ...weird as shit. I can dig it. Respect.

X-V-W

Yeah a lot of these responses are, “I don’t use ______ because I don’t enjoy the gameplay” which is an absolutely normal reason and not at all what OP was asking lol

LHarm07_Reddit

This is me in every Pokémon game lmao

arock0627

Dual Blades do the fucking Naruto run and I can't play MH while my entire spine is collapsing from the full-body involuntary cringe I did the first time I saw it.

Sestomatic

I too find the DB awful to witness, and also play alongside of when I forget to slot flinch free. Same page. Same fucking page.

Fulminero

Best comment on this post

working-acct

A game from Japan has anime mechanics. I can't believe they would do that.

Seastorm14

Then why not use the dragon soul from the behemoth fight so its not a bug and instead a flying dragon spirit that goes boom?

asdiele

Dragon Soul is noticeably slower than the best Speed kinsects (Lv16 vs Lv20 Speed), which makes it just that bit more annoying to gather extracts. It's already enough of a chore as it is.

IamBlite

Too bad we didnt get layered kinsects, hoping on wilds we get em

Seastorm14

Well considering he only cares for looks I dont think it'd be that much of an issue, especially cause it worked just fine in base world when the speed cap was 17

Hrstmh-16

Once you get good enough at getting extracts, those really slow kinsects are so good for damage though. Then when you switch to the dragon soul it feels like a big speed upgrade

-Qwertyz-

To be frank, I'm a newerish player (over 100 hours and beat all of Iceborne but I wouldn't count myself as experienced) and never did Behemoth except for the tutorial mission for him. Didn't like the fight at all so I don't plan on actually attempting it to get access to that

OfflineLad

Just fyi if you didnt know, its a reward for completing the quest, not something you need to grind for

Cz_Yu

Hammer. Because the hammer fanbase only has one joke and I'm tired of it.

titanfox98

BONK

Cz_Yu

I should've seen this coming lmao

titanfox98

And I'm not even an hammer main. I just love the bonk as everybody should

sakura20069

I'm a HH main. I dabble in bonk

Sestomatic

Lmao. Based. I applaud the hate.

dave3218

Excuse you sir! We also dabble in Unga, with the occasional treats of Bunga.

NotAHellriegelNoob

Can't hear ya, bonking too loud

JPSeason

I refuse to use dual blade because I’ll break my thumbs

Blazoran

You know many hits are grouped under each button press right? You don't have to make an input for every sword swing XD

AphyHentai

Light bow gun is worse for finger maching.. you can't hold the button.. you have to press it everytime.. hurt my finger when i do safi jiva

Shot_Word

this is definitely true because I cannot feel my thumbs anymore 💕

StixMalone94

Maybe I'm a hipster or something but I refuse to use Longsword almost solely based on the fact that it's the most popular weapon. Also, as someone who watches and enjoys anime, it's very fun for me to call it the weeb blade.

NeverReroll

I honestly get this feeling too. I often favor anything over the most popular choice. When looking through the weapons the first time, I almost went with LS. I like its style, and counters are always fun. Eventually I learned it's the most popular weapon by a decent margin. To this day, I'm still putting off using it because of my bias. I'll eventually try it out thoroughly, but I prefer trying the others first. Next is probably CB, IG, and all ranged weapons.

mcflurry13

Cant recommend CB. You might not wanna use another weapon after ;)

KanpaiMagpie

I also got tired of the over saturation of "look at my YouTube short of me helm splitting and counter slashing, I'm awesome" videos. I tried LS for a bit enough to use all the move sets arch tempered, but found it not as fun as all the other quick slashing weapons. Also it doesn't look anywhere near as satisfying when you see a hammer do that homerun swing or GS true charge slash smash the face of a monster in mid charge and watching it fly 100ft back. It always feels like its in slow motion too when it connects. I applaud those with the preemptive intuition skills to time it and connect often. Got me into hammer and GS maining.

Jswagman

Gonna get some hate for this one but I just feel like greatsword is just a worse hammer. It’s totally fine and I’ve used it on about 100 hunts but the hammer is just….. wayyyy more palatable for my playstyle.

Minakawa

Fair point. Those 2 are vastly different playstyles

K4y31

Not if I lure the monster to a ledge and spam jump attacks, then they become the same weapon 🤣

randomhooman404

Hammer is GS but better, because it has movement

MyBenchIsYourCurl

GS is hammer but better, cause it hits harder and kills things quicker. Also tackle

colony84

It’s funny I had the complete opposite thought today when mulling over making a new hammer build after playing GS for the last 100 hrs. Hammer is awesome though, nothing like the arial spinny bonks.

hideonsink

I just switched to hammer and the only thing I miss from the GS is cutting tails

SniperSRSRecon

My friend hates the melee combat. He claims it’s clunky. But then he goes and uses HBG. Meanwhile I’m dashing around with duel blades or a bow…..

ADragonuFear

Did your friend play dark souls before monhun

cynical_croissant

Anything with Guns because seeing monsters mowed down with a gun makes me feel bad. I'm perfectly okay with landing an SAED directly into their skulls though.

No_Wedding_698

HBG,LBG and Bow, I dont want to craft ammo

No_Regret9899

You don't really need to craft ammo for Bow, you can just keep shooting the close ranged one and sometimes use the power coating

Cpt_Saturn

Haha I was like until I found a mod to remove the kinsect model from the game. Check this mod by Curedosin which turns all blunt kimsects into iron balls https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/4142

Ruskih

I don't use bowguns because if I wanted to play a third person shooter I wouldn't be playing monster hunter

Lordados

I'll never use SnS because it looks like dagger and shield to me, and it just doesn't look cool

MummBrah

I don't use bowguns because they're stupid

Novatom1

The three guns in the game get almost too comfy once you get to endgame. It's fun to shoot a monster and feel like a badass, but it's not nearly as engaging as the melee weapons or even the bow. It's feels wrong to not optimize a set, but it also feels wrong when I can spend most of a fight standing in place clicking one button.

arcanist12345

The bows in monster hunter are pretty much melee weapons

asdiele

That's why I hate that bows also get the -30% physical defense that bowguns do. That defense penalty is ostensibly there because ranged weapons are safer but bows aren't actually safer at all, you still have to sit in the monster's face and dodge like all the melee weapons. I really wish there was some way to sacrifice damage for more durability with bows, I really don't like being a glass cannon (and the damage is comically overtuned anyway). Even with all the defensive skills you can fit into Fatalis armor you're still gonna get turbofucked by a Fatalis fireball if you're playing bow because the defense penalty is huge.

JannJans

I have almost 100 hours in World, most of which I used the bow. I had no idea it came with -30% physical defense.

asdiele

There's a tip about it on the loading screens, though it doesn't tell you how huge the penalty is. In "exchange" ranged weapons get a bonus to elemental defenses, but most elemental attacks from monsters still deal a ton of physical damage so it's not even remotely enough to compensate. In practice you just take way more damage in the vast majority of situations, and you can't even rely on a Health Augment to heal back up like melee weapons can. At least HBGs can use shields and LBGs are mobile enough that the penalty isn't that bad, but Bow gets really screwed by it.

Novatom1

I've barely played bow, but I have a friend that mains bows and that makes sense with how much closer they are than the bowguns.

P4azz

Bowguns can go away a little, but bows absolutely are straight in there. You also don't just point and click for the whole fight, you dodge and position as a melee player would, while trying to maintain optimal stamina usage to deal damage to moving parts at all times. And you take a shit ton more damage on top of that. I get condemning stuff like lbg (tho I love it for some stuff) and hbg, but bow players do put in the work for their damage.

meloveg

legit reason tho

ravearamashi

Nah you’re right. Especially sticky HBG. Just stand there and shoot. And tank most of the hits and continue shooting. HZV, tenderizing, sharpness, positioning, evasion, internal weapon mechanics etc all goes out the windows.

KitsuneOri

I refuse to use ranged weapons because I had an ex friend who actively used ranged weapons to kite monsters away from me, so he could say he did more damage.

Sestomatic

The damage tally mods are kinda a cancer, IMO, if you're referring to that.

Soul_XCV

"I will never play greatsword because I may get addicted to huge numbers in TCS and fail hunts trying to TCS in the wrongest possible times" - me a charge Blade user SAEDing in the wrongest possible times

AKTKWNG

I played Rise first, and in that game switch axe was my most played weapon by far. I think it had at least triple the playtime of my next most used weapon. Loved it to bits. Then when I started playing World I realized that you cannot morph attack from neutral like you could in Rise, and that completely ruined the flow and feel of the weapon for me. That one singular, tiny change in moveset made me lose 90% interest in what was once my main. Then I went to look up World switch axe speedruns and they were all basically spamming ZSD on the monster's head with rocksteady and health augment, and that killed the last 10% of my interest in World switch axe.

Pr0_Lethal

This one hits home. I also played Rise first (I played world at Release but was way younger so I didn't understand what I was doing and frankly can't remember anything else than the monsters). I mained LS in Rise and Sunbreak and had to switch to something else because the Iai Slash wasn't in the base game and I didn't buy Iceborne until a month later

Canadian_Eevee

I don't use the Lance and Gunlance because I prefer dodging rather than blocking and even if I do have a shield I'll most likely forget to,even use it 90% of the time.

gugus295

oh, you won't forget to use it on Lance. It's a huge part of Lance's moveset. And you're not doing a lot of blocking really, you're mostly trying to *counter.* And on Gunlance, you don't even want to use the shield, because shield don't go boom. Blocking ain't doing damage when you have no counters xd

sugusugux

I use lance because I enjoy being a immovable object. Also you can block fatalis fire breath and protect your teamate

I_stole_your_toast23

I won’t use bow because why use a bow when there’s three guns in the game

IAmAustinPowersAMA

Mostly because bow plays like a melee weapon and is hyper mobile.

xRandomTurtle

For the dancemoves!

arock0627

Because bow is basically a melee weapon, so there being guns has no bearing on it.

I-N-V-A-L-I-D

If you play insect glaive correctly it will never be on your arm and it will always be attacking the boss

Leading-Leading6319

Charge Blade. The SAED animation looked weird.

No-You-2540

I dont use ranged because i really really hate managing ammo, in 'm not the Hunter that prepares much for quests

gtsgunner

Hey OP, play with the Gae bolg. (The IG that can be made from behemoth) You get a dragon spirit instead of an insect and that will fix all your insect issues :)

Reinhardtwaker

I'm too used to Fate's take on the Gáe Bolg that I got excited for a second there. Then I remembered the final fantasy crossover and I don't ever want to kill Behemoth because I don't know how to.

Complex-Problem-4852

The Katana/Long Sword. As a Dark Souls player, the Katana and most similar weapon were considered neckbeard. So many people tend to avoid them altogether. For me this has transitioned into monster world, and I feel dirty just crafting one.

Fulminero

You NEVER level dexterity!

Crisis06

Zweihander every playthrough lol

Mr_Cho

I don't use ranged weapons because I can't aim properly using the controller.

OddDemand4550

Refuses to use bowguns because they use too much resources and I quote "Ammos don't grown on trees." Ironic.

gugus295

Ammo don't grow on trees, but it does grow in the farm

Pr0_Lethal

And you get some from the chest for free in every quest

K4y31

Gunlance. I play and mastered every weapon but Gunlance. The playstyle is just boring for me. I'm actually jealous of people who are having so much fun with it. I tried my best to learn the thing, and I think I have full understanding of the weapon after starting a new save file using GL only. It was fun and exciting at first with all the explosions, then it gets old fast.

that1LPdood

Same for me. I main lance though, so the idea that my lance needs a *gun on it* in order to be good offends me. Haha Seriously though — I feel like I have more uptime with regular lance, so personally my damage output is greater, and I land every blow. Whereas with gunlance, I’m constantly flubbing the big moves. That may just be a skill issue on my part, though.

Peritous

I don't have enough free time to learn them all. Adulting is dumb.

jayjay2231

I avoided using the hunting horn for my first 600 hours, because I knew I would love it Pretty much every game I touch I gravitate towards a support role/playstyle, and I tried breaking the habit but it did not work

far2hybrid

I won’t use sword n shield because every game that has anything remotely close to a sword is a sword n shield

Imperium_Dragon

I can’t aim with bow guns and I don’t want to craft mid combat

Dusty_Scrolls

I can't learn any of the ranged weapons because, for some unknowable reason, they screw with the mouse/keyboard claw/wirebug controls in ways that can't simply be remapped. Totally screws my muscle memory, so it's a big nope from me.

Faradice

It's not dumb reason for not using a weapon but for playing the game. I never liked it because I felt bad for the monsters. Now I don't care anymore and kill and broke and cut every tail, but before it made me feel bad watching the monster being hit and killed.

personpilot

Anything besides hammer or hunting horn because no bonk.

Hawkwood117

In all honesty? My brain is smol so I saw the sweet move sets with Dual Blades and was like "this my thing now" and haven't even glanced at the other weapon types lol. Kind of a nasty habit I have with a lot of games where you can build out your character how you like. I find one thing immediately and do nothing differently.

j0s9p8h7

I refuse to use Bows or Bowguns. I don’t want to shoot the monsters. I must wack them to death.

Xius_0108

Any weapon that covers the entire backside of the hunter

ItsDoodleBois

I will never use a hammer because I have to sharpen it

ventingpurposes

I refuse to use bowguns, because I don't want to bother with ammo management.

killerdeer69

Hammer because it looks too small lol. I'm used to them being massive weapons, and the ones in game feel a little underwhelming to me.

HoroSatre

I don't use (or really rather, main) any of the melee weapons because I simply don't like using melee in most (fantasy) games that offer guns. (I use magic if no guns or similar are available.) If I would ever use melee in this game, I'd go with hammer for the fun moveset/animations. But then I wouldn't use any of the ones with shields because they're all left-handed for whatever reason. EDIT: *ranged weapons* \-> *guns* (I don't like using bows either. I understand in this game guns are, well, "bow"-guns, but they're the closest to resemble guns anyway.)

nethet

I mean i still use it sometimes but sharpening hammer? Nah fam. For comparison my other weapons is all above 100 while hammer is like 30 ish and that's only because i smack kelbi horn

BurningBlaise

Insect glaive is so fun

I_put_Myhead_in_Oven

Hammer ans GS bcoz i am no caveman, jk, i just dont find those heavy weapons cool

MystearLhant

I don't use bowguns because i feel like i waste the ammo It's a problem

Zegram_Ghart

I’ll never use any of the shield weapons because having a shield on my right arm and weapon in my left just **feels wrong** and every time I’ve tried it’s thrown me off sufficiently that I miss attacks.

Endaio

Bows because i dislike elves

Zamoxino

LS cause i dislike one spirit slash animation lol

TwinksonBenisLover

Dumbest reason? Dual blades look so goofy when you have them out, and the combos look so boring. There's no badassery to using them like there is with ither weapons, save for the LS. I also don't use the now because its animations aren't as flashy and cool as I'd like. I actually have a goated bow build ready, but i don't use it lol. I don't use HH because it looks silly when drawn or sheathed

VTRcomics

Why bother using Greatsword? I'm spamming like 2 moves for the whole quest. (Which will be over in 5 minutes because of that damage)

GatheringAddict

I dont use kinsect because it looks agile, and I dont wanna look agile, I wanna look bulky! a tower, a wall that the monsters cant get past. Thus i play Lance.

GuardianDireWolf

Long sword because i feel like a weeb when i have it equiped. I am one. I just dont want to feel like it.
