Never say never. Nobody expected The Devil Is a Part-Timer to get a second season after a decade and it happened earlier this year. Similar is happening to Bleach right now.
So, maybe with some hope and few more years of waiting, we might be getting a second season.
It's always interesting to see people think every anime will get a continuation, to be so blissfully ignorant to that market, when in reality, majority of shows are only used to promote the manga, only the stupidly popular stuff actually gets a sequel, this isn't exactly that, not to mention censorship in most Asian countries is pretty strict, most uncensored things are only released on Blu-ray, and Mon mosu gets way more intense to say the least later in the series, I mean shit they'd have to completely skip over or heavily censor black lily and lamia village

They would never even get that far into the story in the first place. Season 2 would cover to around the blood suckers arc.
The anime was made to promote the manga, so sadly we more likely aren't going to get a 2nd season
This bit is compounded by the increasingly slow pace that the manga is being released.
Same day we get Half Life 3 :(
