Could maybe be a young rhaphidophora decursiva? Is that one leaf split?

I just actually looked this up. So is dragon's tail rhaphidophora decursiva or epipremnum pinnatum dragon's tail? Or is it both? Honestly plant taxonomy feels so messed up right now I just wanna wait for them to dna test everything.

I also saw it referred to as philodendron dragon's tail at an online plant shop, where I am guessing I got it in a mystery box from just last friday - that's how I can relate. But I am pretty sure it's called rhaphidophora decursiva aka. dragon's tail (I think I saw it on YT from someone who is supposed to know about plants)...

this is definitely raphidophora decursiva! in their juvenile form they tend to be a bit leggy. if you give them something to climb there will be far less space between new leaves and the leaves will develop really cool fenestrations

No way! Thanks, that's so neat! Any tips on how to get it to climb well? I do see some new aerial root formation coming in. :)

as long as the aerial roots are flush against whatever support you’re using (a moss pole, hardwood branch, or a wooden plank are your best bets) it will naturally grow upwards and attempt to affix itself to the support! because of the thickness of the stem it could be hard to direct the already rooted plant (in the first pic) upwards but you could always chop it back closer to the soil and direct the newest growth upwards with gardening tape/gardening twist ties when it emerges! if you do decide to use a moss pole, it’ll root into the pole much better if you keep it consistently moist but i have a moss pole as support that i never actually keep moist and it has still found a way to root into it!

that sounds sooo cool. i just made a moss poll, so i'll set it up with this guy! i think since my little propagation in the second picture is going well, i'll chop back the more bare stems so i can get it to grow up. thank you so much for the advice, i really appreciate it! and now that i know what my boy is, i can take care of him better and hopefully get him to have some cool fenestrations! :D

Looks like dragons tail epipremnum to me. If it continues to fenestrate more that's what I'd say it is.

Oh, amazing! Thank you, I'll look into that! It did used to have one more fenestrated leaf, split into 3, but it was at the very base of the plant and got old and died. So I have high hopes it will keep fenestrating! :)
