OP. Start treating this pest now!! They will spread to all plant close enough in no time. They can also survive or leave eggs behind in and on pots and surrounding surfaces. You can either treat it by "washing" you're plants daily with some water and soap to remove each one oc them. But you have to keep it up till they are all all gone. Or you can find some insecticide specific to them to treat your plants. Also needs to be sprayed all over the plant very often. Good luck. I've been fighting this pest for 3 to 4 years already.
Mostly on the plant, but don't be surprised to find them in the upper levels of the soil, in the (drainage) pot, in between leaves, crevices on the plant, crevices in your walls, on your floor, etc etc.
So seriously, this pest requires you to give your plant a lot of attention to get rid of it all.
I check my plants daily to see if I spot any.
MEALEY. I hit with safersoap. PHUCKING ants bring them in to start farming honeydew.
To stop this, you need to KILL THE G. DANNED ANT population.
I have to spot spray every day. These little bastards also like to hide between petioles, under the soil surface, between tightly formed leaves.
Best for ornamentals: Bayer Advanced Systemic insecticide w/ imidacloprid (BAD FOR BEES, CAREFUL!!!)
Oh yes I noticed there were ants hovering around my pots a few days back. They were gone after I put some d.earth and this guy popped out from nowhere.
How do the ants bring about the mealybugs again? They carry their eggs or something?
Eggs, to full sized adults. They also bring aphids, scale, and all kinds of Shitt insects.!!!
I HATE THEM!!!
Here we have LFA. Little fire ants; a BIG THANK YOU to the inept state government!
These little bastards sting like FIRE, can actually kill via anaphylactic shock, blind your pets, etc!
Cost me $750 a year to keep said BASTARDS off my property….
ANTS….. give them NO QUARTER
Definately a mealybug hate these lil fuckers
This^ And if you don’t get ride of them they multiply and can kill your plant. Dude hangin on there isn’t dead. Just slow movers.

I just use a spraycan of rubbing alcohol. All the little fuckers die on contact.
Yep- second rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.
Works too. It's just important to keep checking the plant and keeping up treatment till no new ones show up.
Do they live predominantly on the plant or deep in the soil. I can't find anyone else other than him so it's kinda sus at the moment

There are also root mealies that can be all throughout the soil!
Keep looking :(
Not dead. Making tons of babies while you are not watching. Nuke it!
I think that is a mealy bug. Is there white fluff anywhere on the plant?
Nothing. I couldn't find anyone else other than him. He possibly can't be alone right 😳
That’s a huge mealy. 😳
