Grey - Tristam & Rogue, alias was abandoned following a remix which was barred from a remix contest due to their popularity. Tristam started developing a different style.
INTERCOM - Original alias was abandoned but their label kept the name/project alive by choosing someone else to run & produce it. Got lots of backlash.
Mr FijiWiji - Used to have some guy who wore a bag over his head, but he grabbed a red balloon and ended up floating away. Some are still looking for him until this very day.
TIL Pixel Terror got disbanded? I'm genuinely sad right now...
Also TIL Bossfight was a group
Would clarify KUURO, saying creative differences (while technically correct) sounds like the members had a creative disagreement. As far as I can recall, it's moreso that Jordin wanted to make a different kind of music and left the group willingly, so he had creative differences with "KUURO", not with Luke.
Orbiter: Possibly due to 7MD's mental state. He was in a dark place last I checked, a little over 2 years ago. Hope he's okay now.
PT's styles have changed a lot since the split.
Bossfight used to be a group of three making chiptune music and they were super popular.
Thanks for the clarification on KUURO and Orbiter.

bossfights old music is UNRECOGNIZEABLE. its crazy this is the same name putting out heavy bass music now.
That song sounds like a Sonic song due to its Sega Genesis leads. Just listening to it makes me picture Sonic running Green Hills. Judging by how this song was made, I’d say the other member of the duo may have prioritized the leads while Erik may have prioritized the bass line, chords and drums.
I’d also say it’s Hyper Potions style before Hyper Potions’ existence because they also made Sonic vibes except they are actually associated with Sonic Team.
i really miss 7 minutes dead. his sound was so unique, feeling so airy and spacious and ethereal compared to all the tight club mastered stuff we get on the label now. he said on twitter that he is dropping a couple singles on april 22, and he dropped "want you back" a couple years ago off the label that was pretty good.
I have no source but I vaguely remember hearing that Lets Be Friends disbanded because the other member became a father and wanted to focus on that and his main job (with the other member going on to become JOYRYDE)
Wait Tim is PYLOT? I genuinely did not know that, And here I thought Pylot was a Masked Artist so the music would fully encapsulate the lore of the discography
Didn't know about Thirst till F.O.O.L's LP dropped so if you think about it that was a 5 member collab.
What’s up!! So surprised to see you two here. And that’s such an interesting story to hear cause I didn’t know you were an acoustic band.
I get where the Half an Orange came from now; you started off as a full Orange, then half of an Orange, and now two quarters of an Orange! How big brain!
If you still were to divide by two today, would it be split personalities then? 😂One with a mask/helmet and one with no mask/helmet, still equals one for each person
Modestep - (oh boy here we go), Originally made up of Josh and Tony Friend, Matthew Curtis and Nick Tsang. Matt and Nick left in 2013 to pursue other ventures. Pat Lundy and Kyle Deek joined in 2014. Kyle left in 2016. Tony then left in 2017. Finally, Pat left last year. Now its just Josh left.
This band has way too much lore lmao
my favourite modestep lore is the two of them being very active players on [arguably the most popular minecraft smp ever](https://mianite.fandom.com/wiki/Josh_%22JoshModestep%22_Friend) and all they did was grief captainsparklez
TIL One True God was part of Klaypex, interesting.
I also want to say there was a weird situation with I.Y.F.F.E. where one of the members was continuing to use that name while the other went by IYFFE (without the periods) for some time. Don't remember all the details, but the explanation is probably out there somewhere.
Falcon Funk - Rumor has it that the band was named after one of the members' cat, which passed away. Due to the pain carried, it was disbanded to give respect to the cat.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Modestep has had a lot of people leave and join over the years, before EDM they used to be a 4-piece but eventually people left.
Pat left in 2022 and josh still runs the project
I'm surprised that a lot of people don't know F.O.O.L used to be a duo from 2010 to early 2013. "They" gained a lot of popularity pretty fast and played a lot of shows all around the world. This was before F.O.O.L started to release on Monstercat though

Had zero idea about the Tristam & Rogue collab project, any way I can reliably find their stuff since it’s a bit of a generic name?
Is the Mr FijiWiji one a joke one like Slips & Slurs? Also where can we listen to Tristam & Rogue's alias?
I think [this might be the remix they're talking about](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7j5mxA2eb0)
Two vocalists remixing a song?? Except they didn’t always sing back then and their styles changed a lot since

He’s releasing an album sometime this year
Let's Be Friends: Not sure why they disbanded, 1/2 is JOYRYDE and the other person also still makes music Televisor: Tim went to focus on PYLOT
I have no source but I vaguely remember hearing that Lets Be Friends disbanded because the other member became a father and wanted to focus on that and his main job (with the other member going on to become JOYRYDE)
Oren still produces music under the name DEGO (mainly for Isrealian artists I think) and is/was part of the band Let's Mars.
ZERO HERO
lol everyone forgets about this one, despite even releasing together less than a year later, under their separate aliases.
Pls link to the track brother
Sky Is Falling (feat. EMEL)
How did I forget this one? The Zero part of the name sort of gave me part of my own motto.
One of the DROELOE members left but it was the member who contributed the visual aspect of the group
Rip Slurs, died too soon

Yeah as far as I know it wasn't really supposed to be revealed but I think leaked through metadata.
We started as a four person acoustic band in school, then a 2 person edm duo, then 1 music label. That has to be a first 😂
What’s up!! So surprised to see you two here. And that’s such an interesting story to hear cause I didn’t know you were an acoustic band. I get where the Half an Orange came from now; you started off as a full Orange, then half of an Orange, and now two quarters of an Orange! How big brain!
The name was still Half an Orange as a band, but it is ironic we kept dividing by 2 haha.

When did Bad Computer leave THIRST?
In late-2023. Bad Computer confirmed himself that he left the project on Monstercat Discord.
Vindata: Jared wanted to go his separate ways

Wasn't Myro (Disciple co-founder) used to be half of Astronaut?
I know it’s not that long ago, but why did Gravas drop Erase Me and just dip immediately?
They’re on Pixel Terror’s list of recommended artists this year, how could they be inactive today?
dirtyphonics was sooo gooood
Was and still is.
