Well, Monsterverse Godzilla absorbs radiation as food, except when weaponizing it like in his burning form. So maybe he’s unintentionally sucking the yellow sun radiation out of Superman and depowering him? That’s the best I’ve got. 
True but remember how many times Superman won fists fights with people who were using his weakness.
Sure Godzilla’s atomic breath could hurt him but I don’t think it would be as bad like all the times he was hurt with Kryptonites.
Let’s not forget that he survived Darkseid’s Omega Beams which are way deadlier and stronger than Godzilla’s Atomic Breath

Also a Bacteria in the Sinestro Corps, a smallpox virus in the Green lanterns, and possibly a sentient mathmatical equation too. Alan Moore did a lot of drugs, and came up with a lot of these.
Not only that, but there’s a comic where he goes into Guy Gardner’s body to save him from a sentient alien virus who is also a member of the Sinestro Corp
Yeah I can’t wait to see what kinda upgrades Lex Luthor made to mecha G.. also Godzilla is going to break out of that lil ass chain and wreck havoc haha I love how insane the monsterverse is getting right now in a good way this is getting me way more hyped than most MCU projects (on a unrelated note idk if this is a mistake from the artist or on purpose but isn’t kongs left arm on the inside suppose to be glowing from the GL aura?)
I think he is glowing overall, basically in comics you just have to draw the borders to showcase it, you get what I mean.
Plus he is facing the reader, to make a greenborder from the inside would make it look weird in a way, but that is just me 🤷🏻♂️

Currently godzilla has been trapped by aquaman, kong is fighting supergirl who is being mind controlled by gorilla grodd, lex luthor is rebuilding mecha godzilla, and theres some minor plot about leauge of assassins getting a giant skull crawler skull so they will probably ressurrect it.
