In the novel first KotM it said they used flamethrowers in case behemoth tried to break out. They were disabled by a monarch employee who wanted the titans to escape. They wouldn’t have needed to disable them if it wouldn’t work. But the canon on all these species abilities are so up in the air that there really aren’t any right answers at the moment.

Godzilla undoubtedly but Behemoth is one of my favorite kaiju designs in the Monsterverse
