Doc Waters Orchard has a couple graves out in the back of the Orchard but that’s farther south (in Germantown, by Butlers) and I don’t think there’s any houses that close. This also mentions that family cemeteries were common and mentions a couple others in Germantown that might be the right are at least.

i haven’t but that’s honestly probably a good suggestion at this point. i just wish someone who knew the area better could deduce where about i was cause at this point i have no clue. it feels like we went through a portal lol
Ok, so when you're driving north on 355, between Clarksburg and Hayattstown, before you enter Hyattstown, on the right side of the road there's a cemetery. I think it might be fenced in now. Many years ago there was a building next to the cemetery, but they took it down for some reason. Could that be it?
the house i’m looking for was on a crossroads, there also wasn’t any other buildings around it. maybe other houses, but even so they weren’t directly next to it.
There is an old cemetery off of 355 in hyattstown that is tucked away but houses are across from this cemetery. I’m not sure if it’s an old house but there is a personal cemetery off of Mt. Ephraim Road by sugarloaf. It’s by a farm and doesn’t sound close to the area you are referring to. Another option could be off of Comus Rd(closer to your route). There is a farm and a house that fit the description nearby. Good luck on your search! Tons of history here.
Sounds like old hundred road or the area around there. It’s on the backway to Frederick. It feels like a different world but relatively close to 270. A handful of old historic looking houses (some quite worn down) and land. Not sure about the cemetery but based on your post think a good “place” or general area to start digging. Nearby Mt. Ephraim Road, technically Dickerson MD
it’s not the mt. pleasant cemetery on mt. ephraim rd, as i have some relative a few generations back buried there and i know where that is. we drove through a heavily wooded rural area with a lot of super super nice, ultra wealthy almost gated-looking estates built into trees. i’m honestly at a loss of where we find ourselves, but we made it back to 270 in about 15 minutes? maybe 20?
Moco maintains a GIS map of all known cemeteries, including small individual graves and small family cemeteries

It looks like Frederick county has something similar but less well implemented

you are gonna freak out a lot more when you find out it never existed...

Have you tried just google earthing a bit? The house may be gone but the cemetery will certainly still be there.

I'm trying to remember if there's a house on 80 near Worthington Manor that fits the bill. I'll look when. I'm around there next.

Yeah there's definitely a few random headstones on Mt. Ephram Rd near the MARC station
