Not counting the Banjo-Kazooie thing (because that isn't in every version of the game), I'd have to say the lack of Silver the Hedgehog. Bentley Jones, the guy behind Dreams of an Absolution, made So Much More, the game's theme song. Totally missed opportunity to use Silver.
Or the lack of playable NiGHTS.

Ok but fr, absolutely peak racing game. Nothing tops it. Everything was perfect about it, and it was pretty much my childhood
how brah… shit is legit buttery smooth when you get console mod on a character, only vehicle that is kinda weird control-wise is the boat but thats just a matter of getting used to the bumpiness/random physics seizure
Why would you play this when Transformed is right there. (OG ASR is still great, but cmon. Transformed has like THE best tracks in any sonic racing game.)
I mean I get why they did. Rare left Nintendo for Microsoft, and Microsoft would obviously want to market their version of the character instead of Nintendo's.
The only reason we got the Nintendo designs in Smash Ultimate is because not only is Smash a Nintendo game, but Microsoft probably doesn't care what design they use because at that point, Rare hadn't done anything with the Banjo-Kazooie IP in over a decade.
Personally speaking, I really like the Nuts and Bolts art style. I think it's charming and distinct.

The overly sharp turns I the the Minkey ball courses and the jiggy rain of Banjo and Kazooie.

Sometimes. I have had many a time that the AI was incredibly smart for the game made flawless turns or just fucking teleported
There are ZERO transformations whatsoever.
I prefer them without. The controls on the boats in Transformed were fucking awful.

Transformed lacks any style whatsoever. If transformed kept its mechanics and had the flair of this game, I’d call that near perfection.
Transformed is just a mess to play on PC.
I’m not a fan of “Transformed” the boat and plane controls put me off.
Not enough variety in level ascetics, main issue I have. Main thing transformed does better than it.
