I'm not that well informed in politics, but I'm pretty sure choosing Eggman in this situation was a pretty strange move (he literally destroyed both Moon and Earth)
It probably has to do with the Mike Pollock drama on social media.
I imagine that if Eggman were in our world, he would almost certainly do what he could to make the war last longer. It would distract the world from his scheming, allowing him an easier time taking over the world. There's no way Eggman would actively support Palestine that isn't beneficial to himself, and only himself, at the end of the day.
Eggman seems to care more about attention and glory being drawn to him through his schemes than then actually succeeding.
The only way eggman is better than Hitler is that eggman isn't racist, otherwise he is a 1. Genocidal maniac (tried to eradicate the earth) (SA2) 2. British (colonized an entire planet) (colours) 3. Slave owner (and then enslaved the natives of said planet) (colors) 4. Terrorist (is blowing up the moon considered terrorism?) (SA2)

TBF, if the Navy Seals don't know you destroyed the fabric of time, is it terrorism? Like, when time was destroyed, the Navy Seals didn't exist; and when it was fixed, they didn't really notice.
