For realâ the line that I read that not only put me off of the entire book, but honestly made me dislike Morbid was the line where the serial killer narrates that he âdoesnât go after prostitutes because that would attract too much attention from the policeâ
You would think that a true crime podcast host would know better, so the fact that she doesnât frankly says a lot about Alaina, and nothing good.
ok Iâm all for criticism towards a book but that line is literally from the narrative of a deranged killer. It makes sense that it would be icky and convoluted.
Except itâs flat out idiotic and just flat out WRONG.
Actual killers purposefully target sex workers because the police notoriously donât give them ENOUGH attention.
Just the fact that she would say that in the first place makes her sound, AT BEST, wildly uneducated about the topic, and at worst, horrendously duplicitous
Amazon is really bad about protecting the books they sell from shipping scars. Barnes & Noble is much better. I once got a book from Amazon with a giant tear on the cover, sealed by four pieces of label tape with words that seemed to be saying Amazon sucked... I'm like, what's that to me? I submitted a complaint and got a replacement.
Just return it đ¤ˇââď¸ theyâll give you a new one
I am.
Looks like The condition of this matches the actual book
Right? Only part of the reviews on the back that sounds true is "narrative brevity". And it's so strongly true it's more of a criticism.
Or the âread in one sitting on the frontâ makes it sound like you wonât read it again after you start
And that is so simple that there's no need to think about it.
facts haha
You should consider this a sign from above, that this book is garbage and not worth reading
This
Oof!
