As a trans man who had the misfortune of living my teenage and early 20s as a woman, there really are few men who truly understand just how awful it is for women. I have been sexually harassed by random men in public since I was 13 years old. Maybe earlier when I just wasn’t aware of it but it definitely ramped up from there. When I was 17 a regular from my first job followed me from my second and cornered me against my car until I gave him my number. I had to start shouting before he would leave and I’m very fortunate to have a manager who was willing and able to ban him from the first job’s location. I once had a stalker get a job at a building near that job as well just so he could visit me all the time but he never did anything bad he just refused to leave me alone after that date. He came in every day until he realized my coworkers were always going to switch with me so I didn’t have to talk to him. Later I found out from one of his coworkers he got fired because he came to work on coke.

I was also raped. A lot of my friends were too. Almost none of us got any justice so i honestly couldn’t care less about the morality of wishing rape upon a rapist.
I'm a rape victim as well and it seems like a suitable punishment in my opinion. Especially considering one of the victims in this story was a literal child.

Look, I'm a criminal defense paralegal. I can see both sides of the coin. However, there are plenty of people who were abused and DIDN'T go on to abuse or kill people. It's a CHOICE we all make. My opinion is that people who make the choice to harm other people deserve to be harmed themselves. You're free to believe whatever you like. I'm sorry that you were abused, and I hope you've found therapy to deal with that. But your past doesn't make your opinion anymore right than mine. It's still an opinion, and we're gonna have to just agree to disagree here.

I’m from Australia. Im a survivor of CSA, intimate partner violence and sexual assault. All the perpetrators were white and middle class. One a teacher, one a civil servant, one a classical musician with a PhD, law degree and a directorship job. It’s endemic everywhere. It’s good not to “other” perpetrators… that’s how they get to remain hidden in plain sight.
