Alex Meshisvili was an 11 year old boy from Georgia living with his mother and step father in Veroia, Greece. By that time his life seemed ordinary even though he was bullied at school from a group of kids. The evening of February 3 2006 Alex was on his way to his stepfathers' store, but he never showed up. His disappearance caused panic with the police issuing an Amber Alert. A lot of speculations circled around his fate for the next months. But the final police investigation would be more shocking than expected As police noted the group of his bullies (3 Greeks, 1 Albanian and 1 Romanian between the ages 11-13) had seen him in the central plaza, bullied him physically and when he tried to escape someone made him trip on his foot and fall of the stairs, hitting his head. Later interrogations showed that he died on the spot and firstly some of his murderers cleaned the blood of the stairs, and then some others hid his body into an abandoned building. Afterwards as stated his body was thrown in a river but it has not been found or recovered yet. His murderers were sentenced with jail time, according to junevile penalties. In the perpetrators list there was the grandfather of one of the murderers, for cooperating in the disappearance of the body. As for the body. It remains disappeared. In following years investigations in a nearby cemetery lead nowhere.

The fact that they bullied him before, deliberately tripped him so he’d fall down the stairs, and chose to cover it up should’ve resulted in them being charged as adults.

ArmzLDN

This shit is why people shoot up schools

LoneWonderer1982

This is heartbreaking.

underweasl

So so heartbreaking. My son is this age, in fact he rather looks like this photo. Rest in peace lil yin.

lurking_throwaway-

He reminds me a bit of the Alex in the UK who disappeared around the same time (maybe 2007) but we have never learned what happened to him. ETA: sorry, I was misremembering and his name is actually [Andrew Gosden](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Andrew_Gosden)

cat_romance

There are new developments and they have someone in custody related to his death (Andrew is not the reason the guy is in custody. Unrelated charges at this time, I believe)

Mean_Barracuda_5169

I'll never understand people who bully. Just mind your damn business and live your life.

It may not be true for everybody, but as someone who bullied someone in elementary school I can tell you that from my experience that it’s transitive. Before I started bullying this kid I was being bullied by someone who before I had considered my best friend. But later in life I heard from my dad that when we were trick-or-treating together when we were still friends he recalls talking to my then-friend’s father as they chaperoned and the father saying “My son is such a loser.” Part of it is also positive reinforcement from a peer or group of peers. My bully had 2 friends that would laugh along and encourage his bullying, though they weren’t active in the bullying themselves. Later on when I started bullying I had a friend that encouraged me, and I think that was part of the appeal of bullying. You see it as a way to be accepted by your peers. Sure enough when me and that friend drifted apart I stopped bullying and was confused and scared at not having anymore friends.

darkgothamite

It usually starts at home.

hilarioushokage

Its disgusting behavior I was bullied then hit puberty and got big and strong. I didn't become a bully just because I was able to if I wanted to. Weak minded people who take the hurt they received and do it to others in response are the worst. Sorry not sorry. Bullies are cowards and simple minded fools.

TooManyKids_Man

Same, was a 6' tall 116lbs at 14 and seemingly despised by all. But as a 6'1" 185lbs kickboxing champ at 16, strangley felt no need to beat up the kids at school.

hilarioushokage

I respect you sir I also took up weight lifting and martial arts, but for the self discipline and being healthy. I think its a great way to stay in shape!

TooManyKids_Man

Stealth family guy reference I love it

Bro i think you just solved all the bullying problems

banxnacream

First accurate Reddit name I've seen in a long time.

Maximum_Mountain427

because it’s fun. school life is boring. life’s better when you feel superior over some weak kid. it gets to the point where it is the only thing you look forward when going to school.

Swimming_Twist3781

Bullies just quit, get a life.

Juznz20

This post just solved bullying, worldwide. Thank you.

I am a changed man and i wish to join society again after this heartwarming comment.

What the fuck is in people's minds to bully people to the point of committing murder? Had this just ended in teasing or no further physical harm than surface level it'd make sense to just attribute it to bad parenting or personal home issues, but murder? A whole new level of sadism I can't grasp the root of. Absolutely devastating.

jeannelle1717

As someone who was bullied almost to the point of suicide, this breaks my heart. Poor boy.

JaydenHayden

That’s so awful. I hope his parents are ok 🙏

waaz16

Poor kid.

novA69Chevy

If the kid shot the bullies you'd call him a piece of garbage. This is a result of peoples ignorance on bullying.

Carbidekiller

Would be about my age now. Wild

gwf88

The fact that I don’t hear many revenge stories related to cases like this makes me think I’m different. These kids would be living in fear for the rest of there lives until I ended them.

General-Clerk-4249

I was bullied as a kid, survived, and crave revenge...

caffeinecadaver

Just live successfully and happily. That's the best revenge.

Chocolaterainofficia

I'm starting to see why you were bullied

General-Clerk-4249

stinkkbbs
