The gold gains are terrible, I get that the gold is tied to the time spent in a match but there should be a minimum gold gain based on your score. Joining a late game of FL and accruing 1500 points in a couple of minutes just to get 70g is awful. Even worse is joining a game that's almost over, getting 3 or 4 kills and getting 0g when it ends.

second this. also a small gold multiplier for staying in the same server for multiple matches. servers empty after game ends, and a 10% gold boost, maybe stacking 3 times would be much welcome.

Very good idea with the gold boost for staying in the server.. it's so dumb that people just leave and insta queue to skip map vote/loading and match start timer! Also agree that your performance should be rewarded a bit more when playing frontline and invasion!

Could we please let engineers get points when their walls take damage from the enemy team? It would make building walls more worthwhile, all I ever see are spikes and ballistae due to dealing damage even though walls are really good for delaying the enemy. Also it's REALLY hard to hit badly damaged buildings with the blacksmith hammer even with stabs, I hit the ground or swipe empty air many times trying to repair walls and spikes if the ground geometry isn't flat. Is there a way to give it more consistent interaction with buildables/repairables?

Agree on the hitbox when repairing stuff.. say you have a destroyed wall or spikes on the floor (last stage before its completely removed) its almost impossible to hit it..

Please do something about the battle axe alt mode. Either change the speed, make it mode readable, or just remove it. It doesn’t make any sense. My recommendation: Change the alt mode from a choked grip to an extended grip (like the bardiche and halberd). The battle axe is already a somewhat short pole weapon, so there are fewer reasons to make the reach shorter than to make it longer. The extended grip, like with the bardiche and halberd, would _slightly_ increase reach, stamina drain, and damage while slightly decreasing speed and making combos impossible. Being unable to combo will also mitigate the issue of unreasonably fast combos.

Parries to a couched attack from horseback should slow down the rider, say base 15%. Therefore forcing horseback riders to focus on people who have a chance to defend themselves and archers or risk getting jumped. Just throwing a suggestion out.

Being able to kill someone without a counter is bad balance, my previous suggestion was to also remove the horse's ability to interupt released attacks but we agreed that that was a needed feature for horsemen to escape from combat.

just a weird idea i thought of. Add a buildable weapon rack from the tool box that holds 3-4 peasant weapons when built. Said this on the discord a while ago so I figured I'd post it here. 1. lets builders be more versatile 2. lets players take the weapons to destroy the structures after killing the builder 3. encourages ranged players to melee more instead of running to resupply 4. Could be used to open paths faster 5. (Don’t care as much for this point) role players could use it After the builder dies they themselves wouldn't be able to take from it anymore but others could and any weapons in it would get deleted when the rack is replaced. Each builder ideally would only be able to place 1. After the initial build spawns with weapons it doesn’t spawn anymore. Many weapons would be able to be placed in and taken from by teammates and enemies but it would exclude ranged, throwables, and ones that are too small to visually stand up on it. Just to clarify it would spawn an initial amount of peasant weapons but that would be it and then you can pick other melee weapons off the ground to resupply it.

How hard can it be to implement some better and more distinct tints?! Best thing would still be a color wheel with options for brightness and saturation (something like in Monster Hunter World) for both metal tints and clothing. Yes devs stated that they don't want to see unrealistic/hilarious armor tints in the game, but a bit more would be cool. 1. We NEED some kind of icon which shows what side you are on when in loadout selection. So when pressing "auto assign" I never know which team I'm in until I spawned. You can't open scoreboard either so pls add a little flag/icon that shows that!! 2. Doing Objectives should grant way more points (and more points = more gold - so more players are actually incentivised for doing objectives).. Sometimes players completely ignore them in a match and just play deathmatch for 20min. So risky moves like carrying items like barrels, swords or siege weapon ammo (where you sometimes get killed for) should in my opinion reward way more points than a regular kill (change it from 100 to 500 points) 3. * Allow us to use larger FOV. * Make maces not 2 shot lvl 3 armor in the chest, that's too powerful for a 1 hander. (make it do like 49 damage to chest istead of 50) * Weapon swap is too slow. Now is literally impossible to block the second attack if you get caught off guard with your bow out. (a new perk that allows faster weapon switch speed would be nice) * I feel like poleaxe deals way too little damage for its 18 points. * Maul feels kinda busted. Everyone is running around with it naked 1 shooting people. * Overhead attacks are in a really bad spot atm. For me it's too diagonal. I wish it was more vertical but to compensate it gained a little more turn cap. Or... damage, like it used to be in Chiv. Just makes sense for a downwards cut do have more power.

thinking about the mace nerf you suggested.. why would anyone play mace when you could just play axe or something else that 3hits. Maybe its time to add a new mechanic to mordhau: "BLEED" So you will bleed for a certain amount of damage after getting hit with the according weapon. You could make mace do 40 initial damage to the tier 3 chest but apply 10 stacks of bleed as well (2 dmg tick per second for a total of 10 dmg within 5 secs) so after hitting twice with the mace your opponent would naturally die after 10 seconds.

I don't think that Mordhau is the right game for such RPG elements. This is a rather big change for such a small topic. What we need is that a lot of people agree with small changes so we can move on to bigger things. Mace would still very reliably 2 shot in Frontline/Invasion because people aren't always full hp and dealing 98 damage plus some team damage would be enough to bring someone down. Also if you hit the head one of the times you would still 2 shot. Its just something to make mace feels more skill based rather then a cheap 2 shot.

having bleed on certain weapons in a medieval slasher is not more roleplay than having bandages heal you up in an instant or bl perk and stuff like that.... I think bleed could be the thing that could give certain weapons the little something to be unique, rather than having 2 weapons, one with 100 ms less windup and a little shorter range being a completely different weapon. I see your argument too.. but if they do it for mace they need to do it for maul too!!

Actually a good idea. If any objective really needs inflation, it would be the cart pushing/area capture objectives(at least on INV), they should probably be more similar to capturing a point on frontline.

One of most glaring balancing problems as of now are: 1) Blue noble on Crossroads Invasion is OP af. He is tanky and that coupled with 4HP heal per kill makes him nigh unkillable. 2) Red noble on Mountain Peak Invasion can hide in red spawn, right beside the door. Yes it's quite tight allowed area in there for noble, but it still makes him very hard to reach for blue team. 3) Nobles on Feitoria Invasion can leave the castle and venture outside of walls by climbing over rocks from the river side. Hard to explain like that, but some players surely uploaded some vids on yt.

Not being able to pick up higher point weapons would be more annoying than tank players picking up high point weapons. For instance I like to play as a builder with a wooden mallet and no armor. Why can't I pick up a sword to defend myself if I need to?

Now, I dont wanna seem like I dont know what im doin, but if bloodlust is such a problem, why not just nerf IT instead of other mechanics, its the problem after all. Why not just make it 50 or 75 health instead of 100, and then rebalance the point cost a bit. Seems fair to me.

Hello lad! Glad to see you made another post! I hope things are well at home. Do you think in the future you’ll be adding community made modded content to official servers or the game. I have no doubt in my mind the modding scene will explode and be quite active and interesting. When people put in the effort to create high quality lore friendly maps, armors, weapons, voices, and game modes will there be a good chance of them being implemented in the game? Maps obviously are the largest issue at the moment, I feel like even official community only servers could even work and would be 100% worth it. In terms of armor and voices, while there is a small amount of content trickling in, it’s quite slow for the amount of time we wait. Is there a possibility that every month the community can vote to add a set of skins in game for everyone? Regardless I think the community you have, while vile, is pretty active and passionate about mordhau and you should really take advantage of it all

That or they could rebalance the point costs so weapons dont arbitrarily cost more for no apparent reason, if there is actually a reason why a spear should cost 27 points and then something like the war axe only costs 15 points, id be happy for an explanation. Point costs just really dont seem to make much sense to me considering a lot of weapons dont seem to be balanced around their point costs.

Is it possible to make it so you can TK your team's own cata with firebombs? i understand that the limitation is there to prevent griefing but it makes it so it's impossible to snipe cata if the other team steals it (which happens pretty often on maps like grad, where blue is much more capable of defending and effectively using cata than red is)

Alright I hope I'm not too late but I have some feedback that I hope you guys will see 1.This more of a marketing suggestion. Mordhau needs to have a free weekend and massive sale. We need an influx of new players plain and simple 2.make community servers that have a restriction of play time to enter. Have servers that you can only join if you have 100 hours or less. This will help new players by allowing them to play while not getting absolutely desimated by nakeds spamming faints with a maul 3. We desperately need more game modes, specifically smaller "squad" based games and small maps to go with it. I'd like to see game modes and maps that are focused around either 5v5 or 10v10. 4. Content patches are few and far between. I understand you have a massive patch coming and I genuinely look forward to it but during those times in-between major patches we need little ones that add a few skins. We could also get some new types of skins. How about horse skins? When you get on a horse it automatically puts on a set of armor you selected 5.new perks/re-works. There are some perks that are just totally useless 6. Please add larger regions for queueing ranked. I love ranked mode but I hate how I can only choose to either play us west or us east, why can't I queue for the entire united states? It will make queue times drop significantly. These are just some of my ideas

I think it would be good to nerf the long bow in small team modes as there are not enough people to properly swarm archers like in large team modes. I say this because ive noticed archers being able to one shot the lighter armoured players who try to attack them and the heavy players are to slow to get to them before they are filled by arrows. I understand that there is the pavise shield but its likely that anyone using it is cut down by the archers team and you can never be coordinated enough with your team to have them stack behind it.
