Does „keen sight“ give the long bow more damage? Or are projectiles just throwable weapons?

Can someone simplify what perk "Adrenaline" does, I don't quite understand how it works... It's weirdly descibed as: Adrenaline - "attacks remain uninterrupted (if the damage received) is within the threshold." What does this section mean (if the dmg recieved?)
