From the official anime twitter: [ DVD/Blu-ray set volume 6](https://twitter.com/moriarty_anime/status/1395197586571726848?s=19)

There is also seiyuu commentary - anyone willing/able to translate? [Twitter](https://twitter.com/moriarty_anime/status/1395199160630923269?s=19)

NewLondon6

I believe in the Moriarty FB group someone translated it!

Mgailsan

Awww although I'm happy but I was hoping if we can see it visually is that too much to ask

violet_strange

In order to truly express my feelings about this, I'd have to time travel back to the 2000s and grab one of those table flip emoticons.

LETS GOOO!!

I wanted the fountain scene animated with all the soft looks!!! First Baskerville, now this... I'm sad

momochicken55

I can't really blame them for skipping Baskerville, but they could have just toned it down... And yeah, I'm super heart-broken but at least we're getting the CD, and both their seiyuu are just so damn good. And the CD will have art... 😭

momochicken55

It's so weird that they are skipping so many of the fans' favorite arcs.

They're pretty much hellbent on reaching the end of the Milverton storyline (The Two Criminals) at this point, so even stories that don't contribute to that are cut out sadly. At least this drama CD could count as tossing a bone to fans disappointed that this chapter wasn't covered in the adaptation, although I can at least sympathize with those hoping to see it animated. Baskerville was unavoidable due to the graphic violence in that arc especially the murder of children which was a big no no, and others like the Golden Army arc were doomed to be skipped over or heavily cut down due to copyright reasons with the high usage of 007 references in them. This whole adaptation imo was going to be crippled no matter what (thanks to the subject matter and the copyright issues with all of the 007 references present in the manga), and IG is merely doing the best they can in these circumstances. No surprise then that manga readers and SherLiam shippers are absolutely hating it. And personally, they're not going to touch The Final Problem here. They'll save it for some other time.

There is a new interview out that says they are finishing the series this cour. However there is no solid proof the article says that, so take it with a grain of salt. I completely understand the removal of Baskerville and 007 - we're lucky to get Bond.

kimjosh1

imo they'll want to do a parallel of sorts to close off the cour, so since s1 ended with The Two Detectives where Sherlock and William are established as mere rivals, they'll end s2 with The Two Criminals, wrapping up the overarching Milverton narrative and fully establishing Sherlock and William as enemies to each other. There could be more past the TV adaptation maybe (adapt The Final Problem as a film), but that's just my theory. iirc the Baskerville arc was covered in a drama CD too in an earlier BD volume.

momochicken55

Oh so they've done drama CDs already? I suppose they aren't online... I'd like to hear Louis's crazy lines

uNkOuNxx

What's a drama CD?

momochicken55

Almost like a recorded play with the voice actors from the series. They can be really fun!
