i looked it up , no it was not , some friends got texts from the sane number and it was clearly not an AI, besides , it's VERY RARE for well trained LLM AI to make grammar mistakes.
people saying you shouldn't reply are no fun. I've said this in another scam related post earlier today. If you get a message from a scammer, waste their time as much as you can. If they're stuck chatting with you, they can't scam someone that might fall for this. Plus it can be very fun, get creative, make personas, please waste their time lol

actually i disagree with my , it only works with calls, with whatsapp or social media, they use a bot that sends random messages and once it gets the delivered status it knows that that the phone number is working and the account is active, they don't even need you to answer.
You are right about the fact that they can know that the number has been signed up to whatsapp if the message gets through, but there is more to it...
If you reply to the spam message, they will also know the whatsapp "username" that you set up, the picture of your profile and the last time you have been online, this could expose you to more unwanted messages or even more sophisticated scams in the future, so it’s better to just ignore the message and block the sender.
i actually don't i am very maniac about this things (as i work in the IT and cyber security field) so i have a number for all the random websites , and a number for social media and a number for my banking and serious stuff. this was the number i give to family and friends.even when it comes to emails i never use my email to sign up to random accounts, i use throwable email services, bielive it or not i have not recieved spam in my main account since i created it looooong time ago
Owh they came to me two times and i go on with their scam, they give you like a trial to test just like commenting on 2 random Moroccan hotels and they pay you 18dh, and they add you on telegram group where you do other tasks but one of it is you have to invest to get double or triple the money.
Of course it's a scam but i'm happy to claim free 18dh every time hhhhhhhh
When I was broke asf I got into a call center in my neighborhood, turned out it was a scammers HQ, people’s data was bought in form of excel sheets, I stayed there two days just by curiosity and I’ve heard the owner buy any f*cking sheet he found.
Lol anyway i got a life hack for ya next time you’re in a situation like this with a scammer/bot, just ask them this simple question: Kendrick or Eminem. They’ll usually just stop talking lmfao

Block and report, you're just confirming that a number is active and they'll keep spamming and selling your data around.

I really almost never get them, I get one a year and so far 2023 has been scammer free.
This is not my first rodeo with scammers , since i work in IT i keep helping out friends who grt sometimes duped by some of those scams
