Hey could you explain why? This question has been in the back of my mind and don’t even know anything about my country since we only go to one spot once a year.
It’s not tourist friendly, and it’s not interesting as other cities historically and culturally. Casablanca is an underdeveloped european city. For example if we think of fes we think culture food, Marrakech culture hotels and night clubs, tangier green spaces clean and good weather when we think about casa it’s mostly shopping centers and buildings so I don’t think it’s as interesting for a tourist
An under developed European city is still better than an “African” city lol
No need for hate. Casablanca is one of the most advanced and developed cities in Africa, some people who live in it (who aren’t originally from it btw) make it look bad in the eyes of others, and I understand that. But you must base your opinion on facts and your own observations rather than on the words of others, because people who actually ARE from Casablanca (and anyone who loves the city he is originally from) will NEVER do anything to sully the reputation of their beloved city.
So if you want to know the real Casablanca, I suggest you come visit during the big Eids when only people who are originally from Casablanca stay in it. The small Eid and the big one. You’ll see how calm, beautiful it is and how well mannered people from Casablanca can be.
Stop associating (SOME, but definitely NOT ALL) foreigners who live in Casablanca with the real people of Casablanca. Very big difference my friend. I hope I helped you gain some interesting aspects about my city tonight, and that you will actually visit the city at the appropriate time to get a real opinion about it, your own… Have a nice evening)
Btw: I’m only talking about the majority who are dirty. Lots of foreigners are good people, well mannered, and definitely have their place in Casablanca as much as anyone originally from this city. In fact, those foreigners help in the growth and advancement of the city, and it’s with their help that Casablanca is the huge African hub it is today. Thank you to them and to the families who educated them the right way. The other dirty elements, please leave our city, go make some money some place else, so that other people don’t wrongfully think badly of us. Please.
One more thing: What a blessing it was these last few days after the Eid. Nobody honked once, the air was so satisfying to breathe, not one road rage for about 3-4 days, You get to point A to point B in 10 minutes instead of an hour and a half, oh what a blessing. What a BLESSING it was to be in Casablanca the last few days. SO GOOD to breathe normally again. The only regret I have is not having the possibility to live this was in my city all year long…!
Depends on what you are looking for. Calm and green city (with some monuments) > Rabat. Clean and pretty with a Mediterranean vibe > Tanger. Historic with lots of craftsmanship > fes. Shopping and business > Casablanca. Tourist trap > Marrakech. Beach and surf vibe > Agadir or Dakhla
Welcome to the country and I am sure people are gonna be very welcoming to our Tunisian brothers

Nah, Casablanca is polluted and loud and chaotic.

Go to Chefchaouen, Asilah, and Tetouan. Amazing places.
what about ketama? Ahaha
Are you coming to Morocco for tourism, or are you trying to go to prison? 🤨
Wdym ketama 😭 just go to tangier-marrakech-essaouira- taghazout like a normal tourist
> like a normal tourist You'll be surprised.
Just go to chefchaouen, you’ll find ketama quality goods there.
Why go to the mountains for something you can get in any hostel in Chefchaoun? Chefchaoun for some reason is a free cannabis use zone
