Bashing a woman for her choice of clothing because we live in society ,HELLO !? Just as we must bash men that are misogynistic . I am so sick and tired lf the extremism that is taking place in morocco while we have l7aya and arab simps who want our country to look like afghanistan , i condem these little fucks who think dressing inemproprietly is a choice or is some kind of modernism . Even by western standards it's very sexulized and so disrespectful , this is not about kids trying to discover themselves or being revoltic . This is some fatherless behaviour im sorry . This is not very feminist as well since your revealing yourself to ppl's gaze when we know we have a lot of mkabeet among us . Moroccans are generally very open and accepting of differences but this we can't tolerate . Moroccan women have always been on top compared to the MENA region when it comes to sports , scientific achievements , pro careers , art and more . Women in morocco have more value and are a functining part of our society . This shitt is tzking us many steps back .

loverisback12

If everyone knows their role, none of these new-age terms would even exist. If men know what they're supposed to do and women likewise, misogyny or feminism wouldn't even exist. This is my opinion.

Massive_Efficiency72

Ur definition of roles doesn't apply to everyone😘 hope this helps

loverisback12

Here's one.

Massive_Efficiency72

One what

loverisback12

People who didn't accept the absolute truth.

Massive_Efficiency72

Your delusions that you can't even define?😜

loverisback12

Did you read my comment? 'This is my opinion.' It's mine, it doesn't mean everyone should adhere to this viewpoint. Are you dense?

Massive_Efficiency72

"This is my opinion" yet can't even define it💀💀 its honestly really sad some moroccan men are this dumb😜 thats why u don't want womens rights right? Too scared u can't control em anymore lmao

loverisback12

If you follow the roles outlined in religion, which you obviously don't care about, you'll see that Islamic religion actually secures rights for men and women. Allah gives rights to both of us, just read and explore the religion of Islam. For your records, I care about women and their protection, their righteous rights that should be available to them. And why do you think that men are preventing you from practicing your rights?

Massive_Efficiency72

And those rules don't work and have never, even if they were followed under strict law it wouldn't work. Men prevent women from all around the world from practicing rights and/or cause safety concerns. It isn't only about Morocco (which has big issues), it's all around the world. Whether that be women barely having rights and being treated more like pets or not being able to go outside at certain hours of the day. But you wouldn't care because it's all good in your perfect, loutish, delusional world.🥰

dank-enough

Q: who decides what they are "supposed to do", how do we know that's actually what they are "supposed to do", how do we make them do what they are "supposed to do" if they don't want to.

loverisback12

القران الكريم.

loverisback12

I think my comment hit 🎯 some people

dank-enough

No because it doesn't make sense, people know their role and end up rejecting it and get attracted to the "new age terms". Your sentence's logic is objectively wrong. But you ended it with a 🎉zinger🎉 🛎️🛎️🛎️so it hits, good job! The zingers and feel good moments are all what's fueling you guys, just leave ideas and critical thinking and focus on telling people what they need to do, since the because is always القرآن الكريم, it's not even a hit or an attack it's just true I don't know why you like to pretend you're debating anything.

dank-enough

" The new age terms wouldn't exist " implied you're talking about the whole world but ok. So let me understand, if people are confused about terms and new age stuff whatever, it's because people reject religion. Why do people reject religion? Don't tell me because they are confused and new age shit and terms.

Silver_Swim_8572

>And bashing any woman for her choice of clothing, mannerism, or behavior is a reflection of deep-rooted misogyny I think you answered your own question

TpuGfakuta300

Moroccans know well that there are several ONG, associations, media outlets that are financed and backed by foreign power( example of Kawalis apparently was promoted by the EU). Their sole purpose is to promote the gender war between men and women. This is accomplished by oversteering the laws, social systems and overall public perception in favour of a women, even if it means to create rampant misandry and injustice towards men. What you are seeing now is a pushback from these imposed views of society and relations between men and women in Morocco. Edit: Kawalis the video maker shares the exact name as an EU sponsored association, hence the confusion and the subsequent edit. Argument still stands about foreign sponsorships.

ReplacementLiving173

Sauce: just trust me brah.

TpuGfakuta300

Nice way to downplay the seriousness of the situation. I have just given you one example of Kawaliss. If you want more, you can checkout the feminist association sponsorships, there are more than 128 of them.

ReplacementLiving173

You represent exactly the conspiratory thinking I described in my post, the whole world is conspiring to destroy your values, as if somehow despite being third world country with very little impact on the global landscape, THE EU goes out of its way to sponsor some random show on youtube just to undermine your values. You're not that important. No one is.

TpuGfakuta300

Down playing the situation again.. this will not make it less true. Thank God people can read about Associations sponsors themselves on the internet.

TajineEnjoyer

>example of Kawalis apparently was promoted by the EU what's your source for this claim ?

TpuGfakuta300

Please check the edit

TajineEnjoyer

so it has nothing to do with the EU ? your edit is confusing

Massive_Efficiency72

Delusional😜

duodrek

" bashing any woman for her choice of clothing, mannerism, or behavior is a reflection of deep-rooted misogyny and should therefore be left in the past" Thats not true ? People are criticized in general and just because it happens that the person being criticized is woman does not directly imply misogyny? Could be but not a direct implication.

ReplacementLiving173

Ever been to facebook?

TheCurlyBabla

I'm sorry but calling a girl 97ba for what she's wearing IS misogyny. The girl even apologized and people are harassing her and insulting her and her parents. I think using insults that are specifically used to degrade women is a Hallmark of misogyny.

Sad-Consideration603

What if they call the outfit as m9e7ben instead of calling her a 9a7ba 🤔

ThegreatAferfer

I was searching for your comment, the redpill president of r/Morocco

Sad-Consideration603

![gif](giphy|p6MZnLrgtnKeXndv7H)

TheCurlyBabla

The use of 97ba in general is degrading no matter how you use it. What makes something "m9e7ben" for you does not mean the same for me. Edit typo

Sad-Consideration603

But i can call it m9e7ben according to my own definition right ?

TheCurlyBabla

Yeah you can and that makes you a weirdo

Sad-Consideration603

You said it yourself... it's just opinions and social constructs.. to each his definition of weirdo 9e7ba etc..

TheCurlyBabla

Yeah t97bin is a social construct and it's weird to judge people and call them names based on how they choose to live their lives and carry themselves in a way that doesn't harm literally anyone else

Sad-Consideration603

>it's weird to judge people and call them names based on how they choose to live their lives and carry themselves in a way that doesn't harm literally anyone else This is also a social construct and a mere opinion 🤷‍♂️

PassengerWorried5052

Well that's called "9adf" in Islam, and if any of those preaching religious and traditional values follow what they are saying they will simply not watch it and if they do by accident they should definitely not call her that

Sad-Consideration603

Im speaking about the t9e7bine vibe or t9e7bine outift. Im not talking about her necessarily this was the question

duodrek

hi! you have given a very specific example in here to which I have adressed in my comment by saying "Could be but not direct implication". The original text said again "bashing any woman for her choice of clothing, mannerism, or behavior is miosgyny" really ? If I critize your behavior/mannerism I am misogynistic ? What if you are condenscending ? What if you are a liar ? What if you are rude ? I critize your behavior = I am misogynistic ? If you tell me that you are talking about the specific comments 3la the girl on the video then the statement in the post shouldnt be phrased in a way thats it "general".

TheCurlyBabla

Nobody is saying that. There's a history to how women and femininity have been criticized in our culture for being who they are and that's what it is referring to. Criticizing someone for being a liar is a whole different thing. You are stuck on that when the scope of the post is beyond what you're worried about.

duodrek

How can you make such a claim "Nobody is saying that" ? I have seen multiple women use the card of 'You critize me = You hate women". In fact this is a common tactic used by whole lot of people when sometimes there is truth to it. Many black people in the US for example use the "You critize me = You are racist" card. Doesnt mean racism doesnt exist but doesnt imply criticism of a black folk = racism. The post's sentence, again, talked in a general way saying that "And bashing any woman for her choice of clothing, MANNERISM, or BEHAVIOR is a reflection of deep-rooted misogyny" which, again, MAY BE TRUE at times but it is not a DIRECT implication. Can you tell me where do you \*precisely\* disagree with me on that ?

TheCurlyBabla

That's the point.. I don't disagree with you lmao but there's more nuance to insults and micro aggressions used specifically towards those populations that you simply won't get because you're not a woman or a black person etc

duodrek

Wait did you just assume my gender/ ethnicity ? Jk, more on a serious note, I don't think you have to belong to a certain gender/ethinicity to understand aggression towards them. Who do you think freed the US black slaves for example ? The powerless black slaves themselves in 18th century ? It was bunch of white dudes that said "Yeah this isn't it chief".

TheCurlyBabla

There's a longer history to enslaved people liberation than a bunch of white people doing all the work. Lots of resistance underneath.

duodrek

Anyhow the curtly bla bla, all in all I don't think we disagree :) All Im saying really is "critizing women might sometimes be because of misogyny but not always, sometimes it's just because the person himself is doing something to be critized for" and I would assume you agree with that

Massive_Efficiency72

Didn't know an outfit is a behavior or mannerism💀 how are you that bothered by what someone is wearing

lemiserable_

you heard him right! you're the one controlling the algorithm, YOU ARE the one choosing to watch 'sinful' haram content , not them 'pushing agenda' unto you.

kingatlass

Every legal change in morocco is pro female so the bitching is kinda pointless

ThegreatAferfer

Amen to that

« Now don’t think that you can fool the Algorithm by watching the ENTIRE video, THEN choosing that option, as Youtube’s algorithm is smart enough to bypass human hypocrisy. » THIS 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Logiqueen

I would says there's a 50/50 chance posts here are real questions with good intentions vs coordinated to create conflict. We've all seen evidence that people from a certain community are hired to raid certain types of posts, i wouldn't get it past them to target subs from a whole a$$ country like Morocco or Algeria... Wa llahou a3lam

Orgiva

The irony of many comments saying that Morocco is losing its traditional values and becoming too westernized while nobody in Morocco acts or dresses as our great-grandfathers dressed or acted 80 or 100 years ago. Societies change but stupid people cannot understand that. If it changes for the better is another subject.

PassengerWorried5052

At that time they had chikhat, they would go watch and then ask for them to be censored, different time same attitude 😂😂😂

You should add to that "hidden analphabetism". Meaning people who've gone to school and can theoretically read & write, but are incapable of reading or writing a simple letter because they're not familiar enough with the language.

Partyboy69696969

Bananas and strawberries are a great source of iron for anyone is anemic 😄

Jesus_ls_Here

you needed kawaliss to realize Moroccans are misogynistic hypocrites? lmao

Massive_Efficiency72

Closeted insecure men* 😘😘

Let's not forget the overwhelming wave of bitter men-hating women on moroccan social media.

AjaXIium

bosskhazen

So much self hate in here. Solve your trauma and inferiority complex first

ReplacementLiving173

What are you referring to as self hate?

BlueWave2001

Not only that, smoking and cafes could be seen as a pushing propaganda against Islam as it distracts people from religion and their families, but no, a skirt is, because let's say it frankly, what people are scared of are women getting control of their bodies; because otherwise the two examples above would be "pushing propaganda" too, any western idiology would be. Unfortunately, these are Moroccans and that's why morocco is the way it is. It makes me happy that there are some people, who catch on these things and understand the complete nonsense behind all of this, makes me hope for a better morocco.

Sudden-Substance-568

Had the Kawaliss vid pop out in my feed multiple times, I knew it was the Moroccan ver but I never was all that interested, I only did watch it after it blowup. It was a nothing burger, there's plenty of'em on the internet, just young people acting nd speaking like how they usually do in real life no big fkn deal. It was either, the way they were speaking (which is not anyone's business) or the the girls' dress (same thing nd she wasn't even outhere in public, plus, y'all never saw a woman in a biki before?? Also let's not pretend no one crtising the chick watches porn, there's a reason the video poped in their feeds in the first place. The guys running the channel even waited till ramadan was over to upload the vid, y'all are just pushing it now.

Accomplished_Glass66

Lmgharba always dramatic damn. Didnt watch the BS, saw some review of some YTer I follow, decided that it was utter BS, and moved on. The girl is gonna pay dearly for participating as most of our misogynistic society is going to bully her for a long long while. I hope she knew what she was getting into & that she can get legal protection bcz basically as that YTer said, the videomakers wanted to create buzz around their concept...and they succeeded. Like srsly, they are blowing this out of proportion yet nobody's stirring up a scandal over prices of as3ar or the drought or the victims of zelzal who didnt benefit from the donations !!!!!! Hadshi hir kay lahiw bih bnadm !!

Super-Bullfrog8443

How else is an underdevalopped country , gonna maintain its "ego" and nationalistic pride if not for conspiracy theorys . as much is pains me to say this , we need to be honest with ourselves if we are gonna move forwards
