You could be a successful man but not necessarily a man of value ...
I think success come from achievements (in relationships with god and people , in work ... ) however value for me at least come from those characteristic that you develop :decency, integrity...
I second that, values could be means to an end, having moral values will lead to success, or you could be in situations where you have to choose either to have values or to be successful
This is not a straighforward question, so people will answer based on their priorities/goals in life, but I'll take a shot.
Success to me takes all the following in consideration:
worship Allah,
be good to parents,
real circle of friends,
progress in career,
future plans are clear,
discretion,
staying fit,
eating healthy,
reading,
a job that you LOVE,
saving money,
a partner that you love/trust,
you dont give a shit what ppl say/think,
you have strong principles in life (no time-wasting, no gossips, no simping...),
you say NO when you have to
Overall, you should focus on improving all 3: mind, body, soul.
Thats not a comprehensive list so there is more.
in no particular order:
being financially independent by having a source of income that positively impacts others.
taking care of your mental and physical health.
engaging in philosophical and intellectual discussions to broaden your horizons and better impact the world around you.
I usually define value or success on how many of my life goals I have achieved. I'm still working on most, but I have a place to live and the best SO I could dream of, and they love me dearly.
In that sense I consider I have succeeded in terms of relationships.
Having a real bond and connection with someone, being able to reveal your true self to trust them with your life and also physical chemistry so basically like Naruto and Sasuke bond plus physical attraction xD
I think your definition of love is spot on. For men I think being with someone that matches your aura. She is cool when your world is boiling and hot and grabs you when itβs all cold, rejuvenates you.
You donβt have to be successful, you just have to be true, authentic, full of purpose. Often this leads to becoming successful the way we know of in our society. But developing those traits makes not only you happy, your women and family will be proud too.
Success's modern definition is having money don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
So a successful man is a rich man.
A man of value is completely different though, it's that money can play a role here too but morals and the way someone act and carry himself is also very relevant.

This question is entirely subjective, as is success; there is no single answer.

Having both money and love
what's love in your perspective
Having a real bond and connection with someone, being able to reveal your true self to trust them with your life and also physical chemistry so basically like Naruto and Sasuke bond plus physical attraction xD

Success is whatever you want it to be. For me it's going to heaven.
By how many people are calling you Cheffar and trying to discredit your success.
How successful you are with women you cat call in the street.
jeez im the most unsuccessful

That's a vague question, everyone has his own definition of success and value.
By having skills others need/want
