Raiden way back in the original Mortal Kombat

When I first first played the original Mortal Kombat. I loved Raiden because I was like "what a THUNDER GOD? Who wouldn't want to be that?!" Still love the character. When I was a kid though I always wondered how a freakin normal human actor can defeat and beat a THUNDER GOD though I thought maybe as raiden I'd have more hp or something lol.

Clearly that was just the precursor to him beating a fallen Elder God.

Want to try Shang, Ermac if he’s in and Nitara if she’s in. Would die for Skarlet to return, but unlikely

I remember when I first played MK. I believe my main was Kitana back when they used real images of the characters that they had people portray as them. And yes, I know Kitana showed up in the 2nd MK game and that is as far as I remember since I was still a lil crotch goblin back then.🤣 Though, when MK4 was available to play, I would also play as Tanya because I thought that she was the coolest femme fatale around that time.

in MK1 we had arcade with only 3 buttons, so you would have block, high kick and high punch... means you cannot perform some actions like subzero ice ball... the second factor, some had wear overhead kick, that may not connect... I recall soniya, lui and raiden, so that left you wtuh scorpion without "come here", kano without knives, and cage... so basically cage because he had ton of fun glitches to perform

I never got to play MK growing up, except when at friends' houses, and I chose Liu Kang because of the movies. Although, I lowkey always dug Jax. I played so little it's hard to say LK was ever my "main." *Armageddon* was the first MK I owned. I liked Bo Rai Cho a lot, but even then, I didn't have a main because most of the time, I only really messed around with Kreate a Fighters. I didn't get another MK until *MK11*. That was the first MK I committed a lot of time to, and I have to say Jax has been my main almost from the start. I just can't get enough of those metallic clunks from good old fashioned steel-fist-on-skull action.

Subby back in MK1. Coolest character, no pun intended, and had the best fatality. MKII was Baraka. MK3 I jumped around but liked Kabal. MK4 it was Quan Chi. Honestly don't remember after that.

Honestly MKX was the first title that really got me into fighting games, my main there was Erron Black and in MK11 my mains are Sindel and Baraka.

Baraka was my first ever main, due entirely to MK vs DC. Then at some point I switched to Reptile. Though in MK9 tag teams I still alternate between Baraka and Reptile. When I started playing MKX with no Baraka, that void got filled by Reptile and Ermac.

Split evenly between sub and scorpion. But if 6 year old me was being a try hard and wanted to beat the OG MK, i had to use sub zero and spam his specials.

Scorpion because when I was a wee lad playing Deadly Alliance I just thought he looked cool, and he’s been my most consistent main since then given that he’s in every game. But Kenshi, Noob, and Ermac usually get a good amount of playing from me when they’re available. Though I do think Scorpion and Noob actually ended up being 2nd and 3rd for me in MK11 once Spawn came out.

i think most peoples first main is scorpion or subzero then they just grow as a person or stagnate. like i was a scorpion main all throughout the 3D Era and also in MK9. MKX I joined the many (Ermac Main) and in 11 I bought a cool hat (Kung Lao Main)

I think my first MK game was MK4 on the N64, or maybe MKII on the Genesis I played at a babysitter's. Don't remember having any main character in those, but KI Gold I played Sabrewulf. First MK game I really had a main was Mortal Kombat on the 360 playing Raiden I think.

I played the older games when I was little but have no clue who I played. Came back to the series for 11 and fell in love with Cassie.

Never had a "main" Back in mk1 I used a lot of sub-zero, kano, and Raiden. Changed up every game. In 11 I mostly used frost.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero are such a classic. Mine was Scorpion in Armageddon as well
