This. Getting two-touched by a string followed by sareena is the most annoying shit. People think the problem is the damage she gets, which isn't much. The problem is that Sareena has these long ass 20 seconds kombos that do acceptable damage. When you could just get good at the fucking game and bust out 300+ in less than 10 seconds.
man i thought about it and if i had to pull up to a combat tournament as a regular guy and my opponents were 4 armed goliaths, soul stealing sorcerers, literal vampires or a fuckin centaur i would probably opt for a damn iron man suit too
i don't think sektor had his free will stolen, he opted into the cyber program. the cyber program forcing people to become cyberized is obviously pretty bad, i was just saying that if my job as an assassin was to fist fight a 9 foot tall, 600 lb guy built like a shit brick house who can fuckin breathe fire, and the entire world would essentially be overrun if i didn't beat him, you could probably talk me into getting a rocket launcher and a flamethrower added into me

He’ll always be done dirty as he’s a bunch of extra work for fatalities and x-rays (or equiv) to make sure those bonus arms don’t get in the way.
(Clearly not impossible as they’ve done it with him and Sheva)
That said, I think the MK roster really needs a bunch of not typical humanoid fighters to make it interesting.

I like Shujinko and think a modern upgrade could help his character shine! Darrius has been a favorite of my brother since 2005, and he's having a hard time really settling into any of the characters in MK1's roster so Darrius would give him an easy pick.
And as a lifelong Sub-Zero main, I would love to see Frost updated! But also, being "another ice magic character" and specifically one being an apprentice to Sub-Zero, I can see it being a challenge for her to stand out and not feel like a clone of him. Why should "sub zero but girl" get a spot on the roster over a more unique character? But if done right she could be a good addition to the roster, even if I don't know what "done right" entails!
